One tank, three dps, one normal Maw of Lorkhaj clear. Great practice for vMoL.

You can find the tank build used for this run here.

Two in the center to beam, two dps on the ring to kill adds, if you do it right, you can kill 6 of the 8 adds by the end of the lunar phase and then finish the last two afterwards. A little challenging, but no harder than a vet lunar phase with 12 people.

This is actually quite impressive, it takes a special kind of person to think this is an achievement. ;)

Wow nice! Did you skip lunar cycle and did the off-tank go outer?

So, I assume since you guys are so awesome, and this is so easy, you've done this yourselves and are aware that the dps who isn't out back running has to basically solo down Rakkhat's 25 million hp while healing themselves and the tank? Also worth noting is that we had no Templar, and thus no shards for either the tank or the 3 stam dps.
I did this for *** and giggles, but it was far more difficult and fun than I assumed it would be.

And @dutchbrownie - we had no off-tank and had to do the lunar cycle twice.

    Gz :)
I attempted the same thing a while ago, but since we were running with tank and healer we then decided to invite a 5th person for the last boss to get it done faster.

Btw. how long was the total duration of your rakkhat fight?

No healer, no off-tank, went through two lunar cycles with two DPS going out back and one staying to DPS Rakkhat (and she did 20 million damage over the course of the fight).

I didn't catch the total duration, but it was just a bit longer than two lunar cycles.

Would have been a lot easier with a healer, but tank/healing was more fun .

We killed them. Took down six during the lunar cycles and killed the last two after.

It's not that tis isn't fun or cool, it's just that in the grand scheme of things endgame players actually consider an achievement, nobody would waste their time setting up a group for something like this then post about it on the forums. Good job though!

So.... I claimed recently to solo Vet White Gold Tower.

Another "world first" if you want to call it that.

But I also posted the videos of each boss being soloed. Is there a reason why you didn't record your group doing this?

As tough as it may have been to 4-man normal Maw of Lorkhaj, I cannot take it as true when your evidence is a screenshot of four people standing over Rakkhat -_- Like cmon now! I think you see the issue. No rational person would believe you for even a second that your group completed this after viewing your screenshots.

You can't make these big "world first" statements without really proving it. This is some horrible proof.... def should have posted a video.

It's the equivalent of me saying I soloed White Gold Tower and then posting a single screenshot of me standing over Molag Kena after disbanding group.

EDIT: And one more thing. I have significant doubts that you killed Rakkhat when there is an execute phase and you had no healer+weak DPS.

Yeah, we decided to try it on the spur of the moment, so weren't set up to record. I'll run it again and post a recording if all you doubters promise to apologize very nicely for doubting us .

In lieu of a recording, and for those who are actually interested in trying this for themselves, here's a breakdown of the boss fights.

First boss is easy, we actually cleared with three people, fourth joined later. Use normal strategies and burn him down.

The twins are tricky. Split into two groups, tank holds both bosses with one dps focusing on the opposite color while the other two dps take down the adds opposite their color. After the room explodes, you'll all get opposite colors from before, and can focus the opposite color adds and boss. Rinse and repeat.

Rakkhat is tough and tedious. To do this fight with four, you really have to have a heal-tank, otherwise it could take hours. One dps stays out with the tank and whittles down he boss while the other two handle the back room. For the lunar cycle (we had two) work in pairs with one in the center synergizing and a dps on the outer circle burning adds. If you do it right, you can kill six adds before the end of the phase, then just have two more to handle with the boss afterwards. For the final execution phase, the best approach we found was to ignore the orb mechanic and just burn the boss through the damage reduction, which isn't too hard on normal if your dps is high enough.

Summary, all the boss fights are doable, but you really have to have a heal-tank and great dps with high survivability.

I think it's cute how you know what all endgame players would set up a group for or consider an achievement. Personally, the cp700-900 folks I run with love testing the limits of the game, soloing IC bosses and veteran dungeons, 1vXing in PVP, and now, 4-man trials. I find these types of activities help me learn the subtle mechanics of both my character, my team, and the content, making me a better player as I do more traditions content (such as veteran Maw). I highly recommend giving a 4-man maw a try, one of the best PVE experiences I've had playing ESO.
