magicka nb race change

I currently have a breton magicka nb and am thinking about race changing it to either a high elf or a dark elf. This is my main, so i use him for just about everything. I switch between tank and dps in pve, and when I pvp I usually run a 5h/2l s&b set up. With the stuff I do in mind, I kinda just wanted some advice on which would be better, or even if I'm better off staying Breton.

I brainstormed some pros and cons of each race:
dark elf would help my stamina out while tanking in pve and also when I pvp. It still offers fire resistance which is good since im a vamp and the extra fire damage would help when i dps. dark elf however has no extra bonuses to magicka sustain and the extra stamina may not really help me when i try to dps.

high elf also has extra elemental damage which is good when I dps and the extra magicka recovery is arguably better than bretons 3% cost reduction. However I would then completely lose the spell resistance from breton passives( whereas dark elf offers a little fire resist that helps cover vamp fire weakness)

breton gives a lot of spell resistance and the cost reduction helps with magicka sustain. however, there are no extra bonuses for when I dps and the amount of magicka im saving with the cost reduction is questionable with cp passives.

honestly I'm kinda leaning more towards dark elf to get the best of both dpsing and tanking, but I just wanted some final input before I go off and spend money lol.

My Breton does great as a nightblade. I even have a Breton stam sorc that holds his own (will definitely change him one day though)

My Magika NB is a dark elf, mainly cause im definitely being a vampire and the fire resist helps, it will also give me the 10% magika regen High elves have and an extra 3% stamina and 3% fire damage

I actually hadn't thought about switching between magicka and stamina specs as I have no stam characters. So if I actually decide to do that, I might as well do that on my main... Then I guess that makes Dark elf the most versatile choice here

    thanks all for the input!

I have always done stamina builds in all of the Elder Scrolls games and not knowing what I was doing, made a Breton Stam NB as my first character here. Once I realised that Breton and Stamina are not the best mix, I changed him to Magicka and after some trial and error I am very happy with the result.

It works, I don't play the game to be some master PvPer, I play for fun. Still I've had no problems with him... at all. He was my first character.
