Skooma Den Idea

So. I was thinking, you know what would be a kind of cool addition to every city?

A skooma den. You see them in every elder scrolls game (that i know of) and it could function similar to star wars galaxies cantinas, where you get a slight XP boost for hanging around there for a time.

IDK i think its kind of a cool idea.

yeah that could integrate into the outlaw refuges. you know those druggies.
but it'd be nice to have more to do at these hangouts- like i dunno, darts/pool/bareknucke fighting/ drinking games (that would be done in a similar way to lock picking) / pickup quests with npc ( like a dialogue type game- choosing the right response), dice games like in witches 2, gambling for duels, gambling for anything really.

there are alot of potential things ZoS should integrate into the game to make it more social. the potential for an awesome world to hang out in between grinding and dungeoning would be awesome.

and if i want- i want my character to be a skooma addict dammit. its my body my choice.

I'd be good with Skooma dens in cities.

We should also be able to brew Skooma there as an extension of alchemy, (They had Moon sugar in game before, this is how they could bring it back) and indeed use it. It should increase XP gain, but at a cost to health/stamina/magicka regen and lower these stats a little whilst it is an active buff.

Oh, I definitely would love some minigame additions to hangout type locations! They could make a whole swath of minigames, and say, add two at random to every tavern or so? One playable against NPCs for fun, other to compete against players...
...so, say, one tavern may have a dartboard to play against the local NPC champ, and a drinking game you can challenge your friends to, and the next might have the same drinking game to compete against the local town drunk and a arm wrestling table to conterst with fellow players, while the next tavern might have a magical illusion-tug-of-war to play against NPC mages and a dartboard to play with your friends, and the next tavern may have an NPC arm wrestling champ and a dice game table for playing aginast players and the next tavern... you get the idea, right?

I definitely also think there should be skooma in the outlaw dens! I'd looove to see a "skooma" food buff that actually debuffs your character in some way! You know... "skooma 's baaad fer ye, 'mmmkay?" ;) And a permanent "addiction" penalty that debuffs you even worse in other ways when suffering withdrawal... with a neat little quest to cure your addiction (not much, just bring the right herbs to the right priest and be cleansed of your skooma habit through prayer and aedric intervention, including having to sit through a lengthy and annoying sermon on the dangers of skooma)

Also, the pickup game sounds fun! Where are those nightflowers we keep hearing about? Well... some obviously are in the ebon flask from the looks of it, but at this rating, the game may as well let the players enter a world of one-night companionship and STDs (what, you thought I wouldn't suggest that next when it came to picking up people of loose morals in some bar??? :p ) with another "find the cure" miniquest...
