i wasnt able to access anything ESO until i have changed my DNS server.

follow this guide step by step and you'll be able to access ESO game and forums, at least that what worked for me.

i have not chosen google DNS servers as the guide does, but OpenDNS.

Preferred: 208.67.222.222
Alternate: 208.67.220.220

make sure to backup everything prior changing your DNS server
i take no responsibility for whatsoever problems you may come into
hope it works with you aswell.

changing your DNS server is rather easy, and so is reverting the change, so you can do it for "test purposes" in couple minutes.

Edit: I am playing on PC EU.
the fix is potential and not guaranteed.

I tried this one already and it works but makes my ping fluctuate like crazy, I have tried different ones and best I found was this 176.94.151.109. No need for secondary address.

The reason you cannot access the DNS server is because there are mayor Cyberattacks to Dyn a DNS server company. Battlefield 1 players are badly affected by this hack too.

the current DNS i choose give me access and same (if not better) ping
thanks for the tip though and you must have a trusted DNS server as top priority !!

I've never used the OpenDNS ones, but the Google ones have always given me good results in the past.

DNS is basically your computer's roadmap to the internet...be careful when changing it. I would not follow the advice given before that there is no need for a secondary address. This is true so long as the single address you've entered is operational, but as soon as it goes down, you've got 0 connectivity to the entire Internet. (And remembering why that is may be difficult if it occurs six months from now.)
