Do Maelstrom bosses have more health?

I beat VMA for the first time about a week ago and went to try it again last night. Suddenly I was having problems with one of the bosses. It was the Boss at the end of Round 7. It said he has 1.6 million health, yet when I watch video of people doing it, he has 1.2 million health.

might just be the terrible rng of stage 7 making things seem more difficult.
