That all said, WW is the easiest to level. My recommendation is if the above didn't answer your question, try both but WW first. You'll get all the associated achievements and dyes by doing so and know which one you like better.
Just make sure you spec your stats and gear accordingly when you change infections.

How do you figure that as the WW ultimate that doesn't give the stamina benefit outside WW form has to be slotted? Then to really power it you need to get the 300 ultimate and the feed passive to get into WW form and maintain it for any worthwhile amount of time. Whereas vamp you can slot up to two active skill then the ultimate once you unlock it! I found Vamp to go up much quicker.
As to which one that depends on build to optimize Vamp for magic and WW for stamina.

After you get the passive to feed to increase your transformation duration, it is a matter of going to an area with good mob density and farm and eat them.
The number of vampire skills on your bar make no difference. Vampire levels with your normal XP you get while leveling, the same that goes towards your level. You will level vampirism quicker the highest your level is, because of that. So maybe that's why, maybe you were already on lvl 50 when you became a vampire. My vampire was lvl 9 when she turned, and she only maxed vampirism on lvl 38 or so.

Only especial ones that spawn on the last maps of each alliance can give you the disease. They spawn at night and some people say there is something to do with the moon phases (full moons for werewolf, new moons for vampire), but I don't know if it is accurate or just a myth.
But you can ask another player who is a werewolf/vampire to bite you, too.

I was recently told there's a way to mitigate the fire damage but they never went into detailtheyre both useless, you have to sacrifice more than what you get.... as a vamp mag dks are gonna have a blast with you on pvp and vamps on pve are a disaster, especially on city of ash
