Stam Proc sets vs Mag? A view from a PvP:er

So.. what's the deal? Us Magplayers, dont we deserve some sets that dont have low proc rate and only does AoE?

Im seriously farming Red mountain to try it on my MagSorc to sort of even out the "proc"-playing field.
Even looking at the monster helms

Tremorscale
Selene
Vs what...
Infernal guardian that you barely make hits with
Skoria that can barely be procced with sorc if you dont give up burst
Illambris?

Where is our "viper"? Would make sense to at least give us a single target proc set when we could not have a single target weapon ult for the destro staff

I would be fine if skoria was changed to "any damage dealth" instead of "dots"

Am I missing something here? Please enlighten me then..

PvP needs less proc sets, not more.

It's already tiring to play RNG wars, and I wouldn't mind having to rely more on my abilities to slaughter peeps if you don't mind.

Say no to high damage high proc chance low cooldown sets. What we need is to nerf those sets, not bring in more to make magicka equal. The state of PvP is simply awful due to multi proc set ups.

I'm also trying the thunderbug set just to get some more firepower against all the melees btw.
Gonna be fun to se what mines, thunderbug, infernal guardian and curses can do.

PvP needs proc sets to give some spice to the game, the amount of dmg stam sets do needs to be toned down and their proc rates reworked.

If you can always anticipate what your target will do to you it wont be any fun in the end, proc sets add a spice to PvP that can turn the tides of fights. But I am however against it determining fights entirely (as is now with all stam proc sets)

What this guy said, the sets need tweaking. Don't bring in anymore overpowered sets, I don't think I could take it!

I'm loving Skoria right now. Yesterday a stam sorc tried streaking away with low health, I stood there like a boss while my DoTs still ticked away as I watched a Skoria meteor hit him for 8k and turned him to a pile of ash. Honestly I had no idea it would proc, I just stopped chasing for lack of a gap closer.

This is the problem I'm trying to raise. It always comes with ridicilous "musts", 6 LA/HA in order to proc it? Yea I see that on viper aswell (which does more dmg also, big surprise^^)

(5 items) When you deal damage with a Light of Heavy Attack, you put a Mark of Revenge on the enemy for 15 seconds. After stacking 6 Marks of Revenge on an enemy they detonate for 4730 Magic Damage.

vs

(5 items) Your Melee Attacks deal 6720 Poison damage. This effect can occur once every 4 seconds.

And I dont buy into the whole concept of ranged casters should deal less damage because they fight at a distance with all the gap closers and almost no ability to get some actual distance between us when they spam crit rush/ambush and run faster than you can ever do.

THIS!!! This is why I love proc sets. This is how I want it to be, sometimes its a win sometimes not. This time you cooked him, another time he might survive? Who knows. Adds a whole new dimension to pvp.
But it should never ever be a 100% proc.
even 50 is absurd (tremorscale& infernal guardian)

Not so tough on infernal since it comes as telegraphed aoe, that kinda evens it out.

All the random proc gear is just Wrobel's way of trying to balance out the different skill levels between players. Since ESO is nowadays a game made by and for casuals, all you can do is just accept the fate of this once so promising AvAvA game or move on to something else.

Sad truth is, there really is no other MMO worth playing. I'm guessing that's why a majority of us are still begrudgingly here

Tbf it got boring hacking away at trollplars. Now with red mountain, viper and veli I can instakill them.
