Some of y'all here on the forums are some seriously wicked, evil, and incredibly negative people. Not everyone. Not the majority either. But the very vocal minority. Rather than get inspired, and or give complements — you'd rather bait and flame and troll nonstop believing it to be the 'right' thing to do. I'm disgusted. I never once said I was better than anyone in any way, nor spoke down to anyone for doing this type of stuff. No. I never did that. And yet, the constant bashing and toxicity increased and increased. And the shocking part about all of this is that the ones doing the attacks are grown men and women, and not even kids. I don't usually care if people don't like me or what I do, but y'all Internet keyboard warriors are something else. I can officially say that outside of League of Legends, ESO's forum community is the WORST community I've been apart of. The extreme unwelcoming attitudes and constantly venomous posts people exchange to eac other is beyond disturbing, and mind boggling how mods haven't stepped in and handled things. And yet, if it was naming or shaming? Mods would be all up in it. :|

As a side note, I guess it fits as that was the hardest World Boss I've faced to date. A nice finishing I suppose. If you feel it's not that big of a deal, and that it's so easy this and that. Do it yourself, and do it better and faster than me.

Edit:
Changed title, and feeling much better thanks to the positive things people said in the comments and to me on the side. Like I said, the majority of the community is pretty alright. It's just the loud and highly vocal minority who spray poison everywhere, and deliberately go out of their way to put people down.

I think some players are a little upset at the moment, for most the difficulty is a refreshing change and one that was really needed however alot of the casual player base that never bothered to learn mechanics and or like an easy experience or don't follow basic build theories for damage sustain and heals are struggling, the ones that instantly call a damage setup a cookie cutter build and refuse to adapt and overcome.

World bosses are no pushover and are extremely fun to solo and or duo but for the inexperienced or players that flatout refuse to accept that their fun hybrid bow resto skyrim build will not allow them to faceroll this content anymore it can be difficult.

Everytime I run to a world boss and see over 561 cp players kiting a world boss around away from the damage being dealt from all the other players I cringe as they don't seem to understand the basics which are taught during the first tutorial in the game, block, interrupt, dodge.

I would have to say jealousy and a general dislike of difficulty from the casual player base is fueling the harsh replies in some of your threads but as for me I do this every day same as you and enjoy it immensely, at least we have something now to keep us entertained and challenged.

Maybe they just need a new forum category called Boasting or Bragging for people to post their achievements on, then the rest of us can just steer clear of it.

Yeah dont let it get to you, most of the more positive people see negativity with the mindset "dont add fuel to the fire."

Having said that when someone comments back to me sideways i cant help but be a little sassy back. It's in my nature. I try to help it but can't.

Idk, I dont see any boasting or bragging in your vids, I just see a dude doin something hes enjoying and sharing it with the community.

Jealousy has nothing to do with it, some people just don't like people running around yelling "look at me, look at me" and then complaining about the feedback. It's a bit like an actor accepting huge wages and awards for hit movies complaining that it is not fair a critic did not like one if his movies. People have opinions and we cannot accept the positive without being prepared to accept the negative.

Posting vids in response to people asking how this works or how do I do that is one thing and we can all accept them - that is the main reason for a forum, to help people. I don't think that most people playing the game care about soloing this or that boss, this or that dungeon.

These sort of vids are better off somewhere like You Tube where people can keep a track on what you are doing if they choose to.

People who put themselves out there for others to see, need to have a thick skin and accept that not everyone appreciates what they have to say or post. If you are going to be hurt every time someone says something you deem to be negative or toxic, you need to stop putting yourself out there.

Going to have to agree to disagree on that one, I believe jealousy has a lot to do with it hence some of the so what or he must be bragging comments. While I can agree with you that thick skin is required if you're going to post videos that will place you in the spotlight the salt that has reared it's head from some of the community in regards to simple soloing videos is real.

Spot on. I've gotten plenty of flack from members of this community before, and large sums. But, this is crazy. Who'd ever guess that solo'ing content would have so many people in their feelings, and behaving so nasty and rude. It's a combination of: Enlightening, depressing, irritating, and confusing. And as I keep saying, I'm not even saying I'm better than others. Nor am I putting anyone down, and belittling anyone's build or play-style. I'm not asking for any nerfs, or anything if the sort. Meanwhile the influx of hostility I've gotten has me like, "WTF is wrong with these people?"

There is no need to prove your skill to anyone . I don't post 1VsX videos or any PvP videos because everyone has good days and bad out there . Even the top streamers have faceplanted . Even posting a screen shot leads to criticism and people get mad if you beat them . For me it's no big deal but others will rage report if you ever dare show they lost . Just avoid it all I say . I don't like making people get upset or people that go out of thier way to make everyone upset . I play with people that come here to have fun , be competitive and respectful at the same time .

Anyone that doesn't like that is ignored and problems are solved .

Try the guar in deshaan, bitter something. I did not find it alone yet.

Soulfire not even sure why people say its hard, its like really easy... This one here killed me 2-3 times but once i learned to block he is doable. As a templar it takes 1min to kill not 5 you make me want to record it. :D

Anyway gg i`ve seen it like kill multiple people and not new players but cp 400+... guess it shows where the average player is at.

Most are like that, 1shot mechanics you must see and dodge or block, if you do that they are nothing special.

True story, bruh. I guess I take it so personally, because I've invested so much effort and time into ESO and it's in-game online community. Thus when I see people acting rude and toxic over nothing, and showing out constantly to try and make someone feel bad — it irks me a lot more than the usual riff-raft people try to fill my ears with. But, it is what it is. A lot more people have gotten ignored, and will be getting ignored from here on out. It sucks too, because I hate having to ignore someone (no matter the platform or the forum). But... I can't be nice and reasonable with everyone.

On a side note, I'm feeling much better and beyond the bs. Today I received a: Burning Spellweave ring (arcane-purple), 3x Spinner rings (arcane-purple), a Spinner necklace (arcane-purple), and all divines Spinner gear. RNG was good to me for the most part, and I can truly say I had a good day. I think I'm gonna post another solo'ing video, and enjoy some cookies n' milk tonight. Lmao. :D

I think it is more because you post a thread for each of the group content you solo. Some threads were made even on the same day. I doubt people would be too annoyed if you just posted all of your videos in one thread. You could just keep editing the OP and the title to add more videos. You could call it "My solo experiences with group content [Latest: Bossy McBossface, October 20]" or something along these lines and update the boss/dungeon name and date when you add a new video.

It isn't unusual to see two or three of your threads on the first page of general discussion at the same time. I don't think it is enough to be called flooding, but posting multiple threads on the same subject is not seen in a good light in most online communities.

Just so that everyone knows, my Altmer still can't have black hair. About a dozen of Altmer NPCs in the game have black hair. Just saying.

    Meet my characters:
    Command: Do the thing.

Zadarri, Khajiit Fist of Thalmor: The thing was done, as commanded.
Durza gra-Maghul, Orc blacksmith: The thing was done perfectly, in the most efficient way.
Tegwen, Bosmer troublemaker: You can't prove I didn't do the thing.
Sings-Many-Songs, Argonian fisher: Sure, I'll do the thing... Eventually. Maybe.
Aerindel, Altmer stormcaller: After extensive research, I've come to the conclusion that doing the thing would be a waste of resources.
Liliel, Dunmer pyromancer: Aerindel said I shouldn't do the thing. Something about "resources".
Gyda Snowcaller, Nord cryomancer: I will find a way to do it that won't waste resources and make Aerindel proud of me.
Beatrice Leoriane, Breton vampire: I persuaded someone else into doing the thing. You are welcome, dear.
Sahima, Redguard performer: Doing the thing sounds awfully unpleasant and really not my problem.
Ellaria Valerius, Imperial priestess: I'll pray to the Eight for the thing to be done, if it is Their will.

No intention to be negative, but your pets were keeping aggro and tanking the hits pretty much the entire time, leaving you to focus fully on the adds and laying down damage at your leisure. Have to say, for characters that don't have pet builds thus having the pressure squarely on them the whole fight would definitely be a much different experience.

No offense taken, and that's the point of the build. The point is to basically be my own 1-man army. A Swiss army Knife of sorts. I summon my healer. I summon my tank. I do my damage and activate when what does what. It's what a summoner does. They summon things to do everything that they don't feel like doing, or would rather avoid doing.

As a side note, I wish I could incorporate necromancy from the school of conjuration into the build somehow. But necromancy isn't in ESO. Otherwise, I'd try to have an army of zombies with my Daedra melting away things. It's what I did in Skyrim, and I'm pretty much applying the same strategies I used in that in this. Except I don't have Dremora Lord daedric summons which can behead things, and kill bosses for me in a few hits. Lol.
