They massively buffed to to increase experience gain from kills, as compared to increasing skill line experience with that type of item. If we're going to be honest with ourselves, training and prosperous are on end-game gear to encourage a return to the content instead of an easy path to best-in-slot. Also that's not what the topic was about. Now, I think there are still improvements to be made to the RNG system (basically keeping RNG elements but ditching the risk of infinite grinding), but that's not what anyone was talking about here.
