More crafted sets for One Tamriel?

Since there is no Alliance restriction anymore, it's useless putting 3 crafting locations for the same set in each alliance. So new crafted sets could appear and replace the duplicate ones.

So, more craftable sets for One Tamriel?

Other than new motifs, crafters were largely ignored in the One Tamriel update ...

... unless you consider the long back and forth discussion of the updated crafting nodes as an "updated feature".

A little late for One Tamriel, but it would be nice if it would happen.

Just to balance craft vs drop we need some kind of jewelry crafting put in the game otherwise craftable gear will always be a second option because jewelry gives way more flexibility

I couldn't agree more. Jewelry crafting is pretty much mandatory with all the itemization changes that 1T brought (jewelry and weapons for all* sets).

It honestly makes more sense to only find Hunding's Rage in Hammerfell for example. I shouldn't expect to find Night's Silence outside of Morrowind, where the Morag Tong hails from. Hist Bark should only be in Shadowfen. So on and so forth.

It seems as though Crafting has rendered obsolete with all the new armor sets. If something isn't done then there will be little point to sinking the time, skill points, and effort into becoming a master crafter. Once upon a time it meant something to be a 9-trait crafter. Now... not so much.

I am for re-tasking Crafting Stations with new Crafted Sets. Although it would be my luck that we would keep the Ashen Grip station in Auridon rather than the one in Stonefalls.

Just have to have some new crafted sets to make is all. Of course, this means ZOS would have to come up with something like 30 new Crafted Sets. I think the game population needs to chew on the new dropped sets first.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.

Trust me, I'd be the first to say "YES" to more crafted sets.
But seriously: Do we need new crafted Sets? We should think about the existing ones first, like half of them is not appealing, which is especially true due to the great looted Sets we have been introduced to in One Tamriel.

The currently availaible, craftable sets need to be adjusted. And after that, when all of these sets are actually used (We are talking about like 20 out of 35 crafted sets that people use, whereas most people use the same about 10 all the time), then we can talk about new sets.

I'm all for more choices, but after looking at what ZOS has given us recently, I'm worried that 80% of the new sets will be useless, 15% will be useful in niche situations, and 5% will be hilariously overperforming

    Voted YES but...

Really i would prefer that instead of chasing the rabbit down the hole of a new set here and there... give crafters the ability at the crafting time to swap one of the 2-3-4 bonuses out for an equivalent one of the crafter's choosing. So they could replace a STAM REC with a MAX STA for instance.

heck, even ok if you allowed it to only replace it with a bonus that is already on the set... so a set whose 2-3-4 was max health-max sta-max mag could be swapped into maxhlth-max-sta max-sta.

This takes the existing sets and makes a lot of them more viable and more versatile right on the spot.

    Actually thats a good point.
