Creating a New Character

So I was creating a new character this morning on EU Server for PS4, and after I had done everything, selected a named, the Name Validation screen came up then went back to creation page, no error that the name has been used or taken etc. Tried it again, same thing, I tried it with a few different names, and it happened, so much so I went DEDEDEDEDEDED, again this happened, has anyone else had this issue, not able to complete character creation because of this.
