PVP Players, How is One Tamriel for you?

I finally woke up this morning to see that my update had FINALLY finished an hour ago, however I can not play until I get home from work which sucks! So my question is to you How has One Tamriel effected the gameplay for PVP? I ask because I'm a PVP player only. I have heard good things about PVE which is great, but PVP is my main worry. What are the good things, what are the bad?

✭If you're a magicka user, you will probably cry.
If you're stamina, then get all the proc sets and run happily amidst 90% of black rose/viper + selene/tremor/velidreth users.
In all seriousness though, almost every player runs a tank heavy armor build, and still does insane burst damage due to Wrath Passive + all the procs. Often, procs proc other procs which in turn reproc the first procs since all of them have a 4 second cooldown.
So it's just proc wars in between fotm rerolls, most of whom haven't even tried to understand how their class works and don't need to sacrifice sustain for damage or tankiness, since Black Rose gives them all 3.
80% of the magicka builds left are heavy armor templars who will beam you from the backlines.
Oh and there's more lag than before the patch. I guess they broke something again.
In other terms, be prepared for disappointment.

Pvp players have realized in their heart that they have always been pve players who just want to duel. And so pvp-land had been empty.
That first day, one strong character could have succeeded in soloing an emp push, the lands of cyro were so barren.Xbox NA1 -
moonio✭✭✭✭Well I was surprised to see an unexpected increase in my damage since 1 Tamriel. I need to test this further though as it could be enemy player or CP related.
I am not changing my armour.. I don't care about the new sets.. my armour is now gold and I'm keeping it :P
Also the new armour sets seem to be more geared towards specialist play? To encourage grouping and specific roles within a group? I could be wrong but that's how it looks to me.
My stam recovery seems to have decreased for no reason though.. will look into this also.Just a poor healer from Glenumbra..0 -

✭✭✭✭✭To be honest, you won't be worrying about PVP too much in the beginning. I'm literally still grinding sets. Some of the new sets are too good not to have, so you'll be farming non-stop.
There's finally some really nice magicka ones, but nothing quite as powerful as stamina. It's better than nothing though, I guess.
Other than all the disgusting heavy armor proc builds that kasa pointed out, PVP hasn't changed much at all, as usual. It's a proc or die world out there. Be prepared.0 -

As much as Dueling is fun, I prefer the run into the fire try not to get killed option with zergs is more fun
So I will be in PVP land. If less players are there? great less lag. However I run BlackRose set on my tank always have, however (don't criticize me) she is a magicka build... I finally found something that works incredibly well with her, however if I have to put her back to stam again just to be able to enjoy pvp I will...
(I only have 2 stam builds, sorc and nightblade) But your opinion ( Kasa-obake) on PVP has made me worry more

✭Probably wont play for a while, my style of play has been beaten into the ground. I like the Battle Mage style, melee/magicka and that is no longer applicable.
Magicka needs a lot of love and a good heal outside resto staff.0 -

✭✭Its terrible. I spend most of my time farming now, this update really opened up Tamriel and I'm much more enjoying exploring and getting the perfect traits for all my characters.
PvP is a joke now, it's 100% gear based, skill doesn't even come into it. I'm playing other games for PvP.PC EU0 -
