Increased weapon damage?

For both of you, was someone in your group below lvl 50? I wonder if the individual battle leveling is extending to the group.

I noticed this too. I was looking at my character sheet while in a dungeon (healer was running SPC), and I had over 5000 weapon damage. I have never had it this high. Before the patch, the highest I could get was ~4700. This is using the exact same gear. The additional CP should not have changed anything either.

If someone knows how to use Srendarr to show abilityId's without active effects, you could see if theres some kind of buff being applied to you on entering the dungeon. If not I'll try to test it when I get home. I'd guess its a wierd scaling issue though. Are the damage values on your weapons and enchants in inventory increasing in group finder dungeons as well?

No, they aren't. "2 x leki's dagger (gold) with 1335 damage and 129 weapon damage from the set" 174 weapon damage from enchants and 186 from agility set

I can confirm this, I had weapon damage increase on my stam toon and spell damage increase in my magicka toons, quite significant too, only worked when I qued into a random dungeon though.

Yes, I have noticed this aswell. Even though I have around 670 CP, the group finder still 'scales me up' when I use it. It gives me a lot more spell damage than I should have.

Yeah, I saw it when I queued for a dungeon yesterday. I had raw 4700ish Weapon Damage, and 5600ish with Major Brutality. I normally have just under 3800.

Sounds like a Battle Leveling bug.

Hello guys, yesterday I noticed an increase of weapon damage (something like 800 points) by joining a dungeon using the grouping tool. I'm wondering if this is a bug or something intentional, and if it was here before "One Tamriel" update. I really don't like it, it makes veteran dungeons too easy..

Edit: I don't know how to modify my thread, so I'll post here:
    My normal stats and buffs:

My stats and buffs after entering with the grouping tool (same group, same sets, same skills):

If I look at the precise nimbers of both the WD as SD increase... you get a buff of 25%.

    Yeah
As far as I know, there is no buff that increases SD/WD with precisely 25%.

Did you test if this 25% stacks with the 20% of Major Brutality/Sorcery ?
    And the 5% of Minor Brutality/Sorcery ?

    ok

and this 20% of Major Brutality... was that additive or multiplicative ?

    Additive would mean a 45% increase (20% + 25%)
    Multiplicative would mean 1.20*1.25 => 1.50 or 50% increase.

    Reason I ask:
ESO uses additive when the buff is of "the same nature" and multiplicative when the buff is of "another nature".

    EDIT:
    a bit speculative, but still:
If it is multiplicative, "another nature", there has perhaps been made room in the formula for a new kind of buff.
And because of a glitch we see perhaps now, too early, a kind of difficulty scaling tool being prepared by the devs.

Or you can be a team player ;) and wait until the festival is over before reporting it "officially" since it'll allow everyone to benefit. Even if you reported it now it'd take ZOS weeks to get it fixed without breaking it for everyone involved so let the lowbies enjoy their bonus before it's gone forever.
