Question about crowns

Hey all

Is there a reason why crowns cannot be gifted to another player? Just wondering.

Thanks!

Crowns are presently designed as a license that you agree to, even as part of ESO+.

ZOS is testing gifting items, though. That means that you agree to the license terms but somebody else receives the actual benefit(s). That's a tricky path, though, because in event of fraud you'd probably have the items revoked and be associated with a fraudulent account. The new legal terms have to be clear on everything that could possibly happen as a result of the policy change - probably the biggest obstacle before going live with it.
