One Tamriel & Any Race, Any Alliance

So I FINALLY gave in recently and purchased the Any Race, Any Alliance pack from the crown store so I could play in my favorite alliance as a Khajiit & High Elf. Then a few days after One Tamriel is announced..

My question here is how is this supposed to work in a way that doesn't completely disregard the purchase we've made on the Any race pack? Is it planned to be truly cross alliance where AD, DC, and EP players are all mingling in the same space? Or is it still going to be the Cadwell silver & gold instances we have now only they are freely open to be explored without the need of quest unlocks to access them?

It's going to be a real bummer if the bonus to this pack is planned to only be a PvP benefit going forward, because that is content I don't even bother with for the most part. Just looking for some clarification.

    Well for pvp min/max it will be important as there will most likely still be alliance restrictions in there.

    There is still some good pve content in the pvp zone that you might want to group up for.

    Pretty sure it's truly cross alliance :/ I got the Any Race, Any Alliance too...

    PvP is the only reason left. Sure your AD character can go anywhere in the world without restrictions, but if you want to do PvP without Any Race, Any Alliance you're stuck with Altmer, Bosmer, or Khajiit for the AD PvP faction.

    And thats a bad thing? at least AD and DC isn't stuck with 2 tank races and a hybrid race the 2 things this game craps over all the time!

    Well if that is the case I never would have made this purchase. That is a pretty significant change to what is advertised when buying this pack.

    you still can only choose form the thee races in your faction you just will be able to mingle with yellow and blue if you play on red. so if you wanted to be an argonian you would still need to play EP unless you have the all races and alliances. pvp is the same way except you kill the other factions rather than do dungeons and trials with them

    EP got shafted hard in this regard. The racial passives distribution leaves one scratching their head.

    When you do Messages Across Tamriel, the two Alliance leaders you're not a part of still kind of hate you. Even if you've already saved their lives and stuff.

    So yes, if you want to be an Altmer or Khajiit that Ayrenn gives the "But under different circumstances, you and I would be sworn enemies" line to, you need the ARAA perk. And your alliance determines your default story line, the one that gets you to Stirk and Coldharbour.

    Funny how people under estimate Dunmer. Only 1% less max magika than Altmer; sure 9% less recovery but that extra stam could mean one more CC break and it could make a difference in a fight. Plus hands down best race for magDK.
