Bots? Exploit? Or some hidden tricks I don't know of?

And plaster it all over here so the spot gets filled....no chance! There are regularly bots there though

✭✭I'm not giving away my spots, I'm not that silly. But there are a few rules that will help.
1 Get of the horse! The number of times I've see players complaining in chat that they didn't find anything and I'm watching the same player racing around at to speed and missing crafting mats left right and centre
2 Learn the world. One tamriel may be a crowded place but there are loads of places just of the main questing routes that are almost always deserted and knee deep in little beasties, go for a wander and in time you will be able to spot them easily. It's more of an art than a science
3 Build up a stockpile. I quietly farm stuff up at a leasurly rate but I don't sell much of it, then I wait until the patch and dump it on the market either just before the patch or just after depending on what the prices are doing. Just because they seem to selling a monster out amount of stock does not mean that they farmed it all up the same day.
The guild traders are like the stock exchange really, you horde assets and only sell when the market is most receptive to squeezing a massive profit out of it. The trick though is never to gouge the customer, if you do they tend not to come back
4 if they are selling huge piles of stuff at low prices they may however simply be a pillock, the amount of money and resources to manipulate the market on that scale would be colossal and imply a level of organisation far beyond that of the tamriel guilds

It absolutely is but I seriously doubt that's the case.
1. why hoard in the first place when the prices are expected to go down? Makes no sense.
2. why undercut everybody by such a large margin? I mean it went from 100g straight down to 60g without any other value between those. Again makes no sense.
3. how come all of them are roughly the same cp and are online at the very same time? "Hoarding regular group?"
4. why do they solely sell scraps?

That would work good if they wouldn't keep flooding the trader with mats.
Even the richest people in the guild seemed to have stopped buying because there is only so much demand on leather and dreugh wax. There is no use in selling the wax and sitting on stockpiled leather afterwards.

Reported them two days ago, and the same toons are there. Very very easy to spot, because their movements and path are pixel perfect each time.

✭I know on xbox at least, we have no bot but we do have Chinese farmers, you pay 10k gold they do all the farming, later they sell in game gold for real money. I don't know where they are but people tell me about it all the time.0 -
Victos✭I've just found two bots at skeevers - they are so obvious it's insane they're not banned.
They currently are two guys running from spot to spot - perfectly stacked on top of eachother.
They move the exact same path every round.0 -
lonewolf26✭✭✭✭✭Granted leather is dropping more plentifully, I'd also think demand may be going down. There are more new sets people are farming which might reduce demand. Also with the insane Magicka parses my trials guild has been seeing it of Ilambris, Grothdarr and the new destro ulti, I wouldn't be surprised to see a massive rolling/retooling of Magicka toons in the near future.Edited by lonewolf26 on October 19, 2016 8:42PM0
