    If you're crafting Julianos in Wrothgar is a good place to start. 5th bonus is 299SD.

    the clever alchemist , 7 traits healt , health , spell and wepon damage , huge spell damage i believe 560 after drinking potion for 15 secs
    need TG dlc
    high cost (potions) but very good burst

    Best set for heals is kragernac, gives you 222 spell damage and regen and makes you res faster and get magic back on ressing someone.

    Best set for heals is kragernac, gives you 222 spell damage and regen and makes you res faster and get magic back on ressing someone.

    This set is only good for PVP, almost every PVE build use Juliano crafted set..

    He said for a healer, the regen and health on krags is better then the extra crit on law, especially for a healer that is new and doesn't have max CP. That is why krags is better.

    Krags is also good for a magicka nb. Gives 222 damage + magicka regen and health bonus.

    Krags is hands down the best all-around set for healers, especially for Templars. Health, Magicka, Magicka regen, good spell power, and fast rezzes. What's not to like about it? It will serve you well in both pve and pvp content. Yes, you can min/max for more spell or more crit. And there are other sets that you can purchase or earn in dungeons and trials. But you won't regret owning and using a set of Krags.

    The best 5-piece crafted set for healing dungeons is kagrenacs by far. This is a great place to start. Julianos is also perfectly viable and better for damage, but kags is better for straight healing.

    The set you want to aim for is Spell Power Cure which drops in WGT. Every competitive end game healer should base their build around that.

    Now that SPC drops in jewelry, nothing stopping you from running both.

    Crit is also good for healing, i use sometime julian due to easy switching dps/healer..

    More magicka and regen around (1700) is good for sustain in pve end game contents..

    Seducer is best for heal spaming..

    4 man dungeons Juli is better. Crit heals mean less healing overall. You dont need fast rezzes as a healer as a healer shouldnt be rezzing, its their job to keep people alive not rez ppl and take their eye off the others.

    I cast rapid regen, purifying light and lay ritual down and can then dps away as my crits tick for over 4k and with 72% crit it keeps everyone alive. The quicker the mob dies, the less healing is needed

    That really depends on your group. In a perfect trial, the lowest DPS (or closest) should res. In 4 man stuff, it depends on the situation. A good healer can carry a bad group of pugs through most stuff, and kags is great for that. When I heal good DPS, I always res if they die. I know the other DPS and Tank can generally handle themselves for the few seconds it takes me to res. As a templar, I am going to res faster, the dead DPS will come up with more resources because of passives, and there is less of a group DPS loss.

    In a bad group, I tend to be a little more methodical about it. I will usually reapply all my AOE heals and HOTs, and make one attempt. If I have to break the res to heal, then I generally tell the DPS to do it.

    As for crit heals, meh... Healing is not the issue. Most people wildly over heal. I think the utility provided by kags is far superior for most healers. A healer is about support. At competitive end-game, a good healer doesn't run any of these sets. They all run 5 Spell Power Cure (group damage buff), and another 5 piece set that gives group utility: Gossemer (dodge chance), Worm (magic cost reduction), Twilight (minor force for the group), etc.

    Only way I would suggest a Templar healer go with Julianos over Kags as a crafted starter set is if they also plan to play as a DPS.
