Best place to farm skulls as a new player?

As a new player, only lv20 at the moment. Where would be the best place to get skulls?

Also, what would be a good rotation to use as a magicka nightblade? I'm currently using inferno staff on bar1 and restro on the other. I've been using swallow sould and wall of elements as my main attacks at the moment.

any delve should work. now with One Tamriel you are getting scaled and the region doesn't matter anymore. good luck.

What platform are you on?

I've found some pretty nice hidey holes, but in all seriousness any delve in auridon will be fine I've been going to (secluded ones) and just farm. The other thing you can do... depending on your peak time.

Find a dungeon delve which is close to an anchor and rotate.

I've had some luck with that also.

The skulls also drop from the toughest mob from 2-wave-groups, that spawn in the open world.

Normal MA, or low level delves. The daedric portals that open in world also drop the skulls. Maelstrom is instanced so there is no waiting for a timer reset.

Whatever you do just don't stand around one boss spawn and wait. thats the WORST way to farm skulls. Find 2 or 3 bosses you can run between and try to kill a boss every 3 minutes (thats the refresh time for plunder skulls). If you just stand at one boss, instead of a 3 minute cooldown it s more like 5 minutes for the boss to respawn. I facepalm regularly when i see packs of clueless players just standing in a delve.
