Which setup would be best

5 spinner, 2 Selene, 3 agility with maelstrom maul and bow

Or

5 hundings, 5 marksman (3 jewelry, 1 armor, 1 bow), 1 kena, 1 maelstrom maul

Idea of the gear/build will be ganging and open world pvp

You asked about those setups, that is my opinion about them, what is wrong with that? none of those sets are designed for burst ganking. If you want to run a gank setup you need sets like alchemist, viper, flanking, etc.

If you want to play a ganker, you need to go full glass cannon. Otherwise you will end with a mediocre build that can gank bad players, and gets rekt by decent players that know how to react to a gank.

There are a lot of great armor combinations for ganking.
You really just need to find the combo that fits you.
I spent some time reaserching builds and trying different set combos. As well as adjusting skills and CP's. What I use now is a mix of things that I like personally and things I learned from other people.

The worst part is, the amount of gold I spent in the process. But now it's all been worth it.
