For 5000 crowns EACH....Why...

Why can't the banker allow access to your guild banks?
Why can't the merchant repair items?

What a complete rippoff.

The Banker is a "personal banker" meaning access to your own personal stuff.

The Merchant doesnt repair for the simple fact that people still buy the Crown Repair kits, neither does the Merchant sell normal Repair kits.

Personally I have both and I find them very handy when im out slaying monsters.

Thoose things being said, I wouldnt mind the Guild Bank/Guild Store and Repair options. Who knows, maybe it will come eventually?

For 5000 crowns, they dont warrant the cost.

    They are worth a 1000 crowns each...tops.

Did I buy them both? Yea...cause my sub accumulated crowns that sat around. But i assumed the banker would offer access to the guild bank like every other banker IN THE GAME.

Then i bought the merchant thinking he would offer basic repair....again, disappointed.

If anything...id prefer a refund on both, but that seems to be impossible.

I love my banker and merchant. I use them more as "more bag / extended bag space" than a store / bank. If my char run out of room in her inve; I can start dumping the extra items into the bank thus adding my bank space as extra inv space or sale the junk items. Either way, one looks at it they like "extra bags." So what I have to go to town for my guild bank or I can not repair my armor? I have to go to town anyways, but "extra bags" (banker / merchant) I have to do it less.

I get asked all the time to bring out the banker and merchant in dungeon run, world boss (while waiting for them), trails and more. They are very useful to have around.

Never said they werent useful. What im salty about is their lack of basic features the actual banker and merchants have in the game.

For $40 each....they should come with all the features the in-game npcs have.

Remember people digging up some images of new merchant and banker that was thought to be another cash grab is that helps you.

Each to their own. To me, they are worth the price for them.

Once you have them it would be hard to go without.

That said, ESO+ should get Repair and Guild Bank out of them. :)

I'm not buying Crown Repair kits but you get $15 / month from me.

If Banker had Guild Bank / Store access i'd buy it right now. Today.

Repair would be nice on Merchant, but less fussed, have repair kits and Crown kits for that.

I miss this feature too but I also enjoy having bank access anywhere!

I considered them during the Halloween event, but the fact they data mined a possible upgraded version means I'll hold off. If they announced you could upgrade a previously bought one to full services for the difference in price between the two types, I'd pick up the current one now.

Oh, there's always a need to revisit topics due to the ephemeral nature of forum discussions, the resentment many feel when you necro a topic, and the fact that new folks are always showing up.

Now, if I could create the appearance of my banker or merchant, I might be up for this. Have a character creation screen when you buy them. It's the sameness of them all that feels dull.

There is an idea -- I would love to change the looks of those NPCs! At least put some hair on the poor Dunmer!

I would LOVE the option to change the appearance and name of our merchants and Bankers!
It is kind of weird seeing three of them out and walking around oblivious to each other.

Of course, it would mean they'd have to record new dialogue for them if you change their gender/race.

As a second note, I would suggest both of them show fear and dissapear when you are attacked...at the moment Tythis DNGAF and checks his notes while a snarling werewolf claws at me THROUGH him.

But honestly, I like him, he's useful - Plus I have a whole backstory where he was previously a slaver and my "guild" of all my alts bargained with Daedra to have him serve us.

I like how he replaces your pet and so when you dismiss him it looks like he "transforms" into an animal.

Tythis is a Dragon-Frog until he pays in full for his Slaver Ways!

It would be nice, even the thieves guild one you can't clean items to sell, and his prices are crap. But I use the hell out of my banker and merchant.

Their better than buying a 5000 Crown Motif you already mastered...

They are commonly used by Gold farmers, and use could make 100k way faster.

Absolutely I don't have the banker cause of two things....price and it's a Dark Elf.

I have the merchant only cause it's a Redguard. It's definitely too expensive but I purchased it anyway and then regretted spending 5k in crowns but I was aware it didn't repair. I use the merchant all the time tho now that I have her so while it's not what I wanted for $39 it's going to get the heck used out of this cause I've paid for it.

I'd love to edit the merchant name, race, hair, costume, etc. not for an additional price but using already owned unlocks like any race, hair styles I purchased, costumes, and because I've purchased chased character changes in the past, I'd be nice if having done so unlocks the ability to change or edit the merchant unlimited times for each of my characters. Or even one change that applies to all my characters.
