Something I've noticed is when receiving gear rewards, some are cp150, whilst others are cp160 (pretty sure that's where i got my two pieces of 160 purple gear Briar gear). Am i missing something here? Shouldn't the gear be levelled to my cp (160)?

I'm around cp 220 and have been over cp160 since beginning these daily quests.

Was that changed via the new patch? Or has that always been the case on PC that you got cp160 gear?

On PC I used to get CP 150 most of the time, and rarely CP160 - and I was already above cap.

I have not been to Wrothgar since 1T (well, I have but only to collect surveys) so I'm not sure if it changed.

They should fix the trait and increase the drop rate on the exclusive sets. Getting Briarheart set was a pain but it was worth it. People rarely use it because it's hard to get the perfect pieces. Their drop rate is incredibly low and when they do come it's with the worst possible trait. But when you finally manage to get the set, it is awesome for PVE. I currently use a full Briarheart set + full Night's Mother + full Valkins Skoria set.

I've been lucky with the actual traits. The 3 cp150's i've received have been mundus and the bow was sharpened. The purple 160 belt is Mundus too. forgot what the 160 purple trousers are though.

If I remember the PTS notes correctly that fixed the loot drop to CP160 in one of the later PTS phases, so yes, we should get CP160 stuff now. Still a PITA to gather as there are no Dolmens or Group Dungeons in Orsinium -> you need Treasure Maps.
