Are jewelry enchantments a good defence against proc sets?

You can get very high poison, flame and disease resistance with gold level jewelry glyphs.
Would I be right in thinking that this could counter the effects of Velidreth, Vipers and Valkyn Skoria or is there some other mechanic that needs to be countered?

Not worth using the resistance glyphs at all.

As far as I know, one can simply dodge any spore coming from Velidreth.

Its not worth it to use them for various reasons.
A ) You lose out on too much Regen/Cost Reduction
B ) You lose out on too much Weapon/Spelldamage, which is a MUST have in the Damage Creep meta, that ZOS doesnt want to leave
C ) The amount of Resistance granted is way too low, to successfully use it

Using is only worth it if the resistances granted is pretty damn high, where stacking them makes you avoid something like 50%+ of all lets say Fire or Shock Damage.

I think a gold level resist glyph is around 3500k, that's around 50% of some of the proc sets?
