I am one of those people who have been doing MMORPG's since Everquest 1 back in 2000. Personally when I brought my Xbox 360 I started to prefer more solo or small group content. I have a family and can't really hold a gaming schedule.
I played Oblivion and Skyrim and really enjoyed this games as an almost Tamriel simulator. What I mean is I could roam the lands, dungeons were mysterious and dangerous. A dragon could randomly swoop down and try and murder me at any time. I enjoyed sitting in my player house and reading a good book of Argonian Poetry.
And while I am excited for Skyrim Special Edition coming on the 28th to Xbox One, I am still mostly sitting around wondering how I am going to get my Elder Scrolls Skooma fix until TES 6 releases. Well I have dabbled in ESO and own most of the content but never really got into it. However I am super excited about One Tamriel and being able to explore those areas of the game that previously was off limits to my faction. Also I am excited that I can just progress in zones and with mobs I find interesting.
I really do think the expectations of most console players are different than PC. And I do think many console players will appreciate this update more simply because it will be basically a TES 5.5 type game now. Yes it's not exactly the same, but it can still be a wondrous land to explore and a great way to either just play with friends or by yourself.
