Jorunn didn't really appear until Eastmarch anyway where as Emeric and Ayrenn were in most of the story for their respective factions. That's what makes Jorunn the best. He knows how to delegate and he's busy doing *** a king should be doing and leading from the front.
I don't mind the other two but why they hell would they get some level 10 hero to protect them or investigate a crime for them? That's mismanagement. Sure, it worked out in the end, but I think they got lucky. Jorunn doesn't need our help until we've really proven ourselves. He has his situation locked down and is focusing on the real problems, not having bad dreams or little family squabbles.
Also, Jorunn has the best accent. I like hearing him talk. And he insults Emeric the best: "You're too busy counting all your gold!"

I think that's a big reason why I didn't really get attached to Jorunn. I went through most of the Pact storyline without his guidance so he felt really distant to me, unlike the other two who were established much sooner in their respective factions and spoke with me directly. Then when I finally meet the guy I'm supposed to be serving, I just found him really dull. Emeric is a merchant. Not to be trusted at all. He is always questioning himself, yet he sends his troops to burn fields, vilages and fishermen alive without second thoughts. I think he would step over 1 000 000 dead babies to get to the Red Ruby Throne.
Ayrenn seems like a reasonable and caring one, but she doesn't seem to control her forces at all. I would like to know what is her opinion on her troops eating Saxhleel embryons, skinning ppl and so on.
Jorunn has family issues, and despite being a true Nord I feel like he is only a figure in the hands of the Tribunal. Also, there is no way he would support Altmer racists, also why would Veiled Heritance have any contact with what they see as lesser race? That made me think that only ones that could have contact with that organisation would be Dunmer, since Altmer do not nourish utter hatred toward their distant relatives, the Dunmer. And Dunmer = ALMSIVI.
To be honest, only leader I liked in ESO is Kurog. Too bad he had to die, since lore told us that Orsinium was sacked again after his downfall.0 -
