I Am Looking For A Good Headseat For PS4

Hi am really. Pushing myself to talk more. Everytime I'm invited to a PvP group in Scourge. But my PvP group are unable to hear me clearly. I even change my mic input on PS4 to really high. But there still unable to hear me. So even though I want to push myself to talk. I'm forced to use group chat instead. Until I can find a mic that works on PS4.

I currently using astro A40 that been sitting around for almost a year. But I don't think it works like it should. I wear glasses. I prefer usb only. But if you want can put wireless also. But really leaning towards usb. I like 7.1 surround and have the money to buy one. However there are so many to choose from.

For glasses wearers. Who are on PS4. What gaming headsets for PS4 works best for you and more comfortable and maybe uses a usb that plugs into PS4.

I want to start talking again to my group. I am slow typer in group chat and mostly get my team killed. Accidentally. Thank you

It sounds kinda silly, but at you local Walmart they have Turtle Beach headsets and I love mine. I don't wear glasses so I can't account for that. But as far as quality per dollar, I think they are hard to beat. I use them for my PS4, computer, and even my phone.

@Serjustin19 ...great question...I need to update my headset also - saw some headsets in store, but, they were running for around 60 us dollars - willing to pay that price, but, only with some recommedations...also, would like to get wireless headset...

suggestions greatly appreciated...

Believe it or not, but the PS4 official wireless ones are very good. Added bonus being you can download an app via PSN for them which enhance certain games and give you more audio options.

Astro A40 work fine with PS4. Don't turn your mic input volume all the way up... There have been multiple mix amp firmware upgrades for Astro headsets (both the A40 and the A50) to improve PS4 performance. Perhaps you should visit Astro's website and get the latest A40 firmware update. I will tell you first hand (from an Astro A50 user) that even your "older" A40 headset is much better than any of these $50 - $150 headsets you find at Walmart.

I had 7 pair of Turtle Beaches prior to my A50s, ranging in price from $80 to $200, and NONE compare to the Astro A50 for comfort or sound input/output. If you want to blow some cash, and want an actual good headset, upgrade to the Astro A50. I don't see the $300 upgrade worthwhile in my opinion though when the A40 you already have is just as capable. I swear I can hear a pin drop on the other side of Tamriel.

I would recommend these headphones to anyone. These are DJ headphones i converted into a gaming headset with some accessories, i use them for my PS4, PC and while listening to music.

All i gotta say about these headphones... if you like that "wow factor" or "cinematic experience", these are the headphones for you. These headphones are great, not tracking footsteps and sounds across the map great.. but your immersion will be at an all time high.

There are reviews on youtube that are worth watching if your interested in these headphones. They will provide all the spec's and details that you'll want to know and compare with other headphones.

Honestly?

The RIG headset is my personal choice sound is crystal, microphone is great.

It's $120 AUD. Looks good, has many features worth the look and 100% best bang for buck.
