Why oh why oh why???

Every time there is something that makes PvE builds fun and a bit silly that make me laugh, do PvPers shout "cancer-build" nerf it now?

Can you just please stop it and let the majority of the people who play this game have some fun?

I don't care for your "oh you have no skill" bs...when I see something pop up from the ground or a giant hand close around some NPCs it makes me laugh...i play this game because it is just that...a game...it is meant to be fun and relaxing...it is not meant to be work

sit back, relax, play the game and let it bring a smile to your face

A lot of people enjoy PvP as well, and that enjoyment goes down the shitter when you have no balance. Just because you appear to not care about PvP balance, you should respect that a large majority of the playerbase deserves to have as much balance as possible.

This goes both ways ZoS, the stamina meta is NOT fun anymore.

These sets are ruining the "fun" for half the server. And keep your giant electric hand that spawns from the ground, Stormfist is worthless.
Problem is Tremorscale, Selene, Velidreth with respectively too much chance to proc, insignificant cooldown and insane damage. Given that all the fotm builds combine it with black rose and viper, it gives you the equivalent of god mode in this game.

Honestly PVE was doing fine before all these proc sets were added. People could clear dungeons and trials just fine. These sets make them easier, sure, but they aren't necessary. On the other side of the spectrum it is literally destroying PVP and any fun people have whilst there.
So nerfing/removing them will not have an impact on PVE at all, but it would bring balance back to PVP in quite a large way.

You talk about stormfist, which doesnt seem to be worth qq'ing (console player, we'll get 1T next tuesday but it doesn't sound OP). But in general, sets that allow you playing with just one button, -one shot proc builds and unkillable permablockers, which is more *** and i dont respect that kind of players, at least proc set users actually do something by killing people- and this ruins skill based pvp a lot.

Any person with a bit of gold and rng luck can equip those sets, and either instakill you or sit there hold block forever until his friends come. With just pressing a single button.

If you're only in it to sit back and relax then you won't even notice the nerfs. Yeah everyone plays for fun, but pvp isn't fun when only certain builds are viable and everyone is running them. You're only a [SNIP] so any build will be more than enough for you to destroy and have fun

They should have a different rule set for PvP and PvE. When something inevitably gets nerf'd, the other crowd gets shafted as a by product of the other. Works both ways and I'm 99% PvE.

They do - it's called 'Battle Spirit'. That's why we get 50% weaker shields, healing, damage and 5k more HP. I don't know why they are so reluctant in changing some abilities/sets to work differently on this buff so it doesn't affect PVE.

It's funny you mention that, we have been asking for that, for a long, long time. But we never get an answer. And that's from the PVE camp mind, many people have been asking for that for a while.

Maybe theres issue working with battle spirit we dont know about? Maybe it was hell to even get running? Fug if I know.

We wouldn't complain if they limited the amount of procs. I PvE also, a lot of PvP'rs do actually more than 50% and I bet that 50% don't get that much of a thrill having two or three proc sets doing all the damage for you.

My Magplar PvE DPS has 1 proc set and it does insane damage and I have fun trying to get my rotation better each time, I don't wanna press 1 button over and over. 1 proc is enough!

as I wrote it in other thread about pvp balance etc....

just remove monster sets from pvp areas, they are that much cancerous combined with other sets, problem solved

if I wanted disgusting pve content I would not be playing this game and instead be playing past bethesda elder scrolls titles that are far better than what you call pve in this game.

Why not just introduce gear that's PvP only? They could even use the same 'skins' for it so both sides could have the look they want without folks crying about one set looking better than another, but being unobtainable.

Many games do something pretty similar, with PvP sets having stats that reflect that playstyle. ZOS could remove the PVE procs from them, since they appear to be useless in PvP, and instead bolster the sets with PvP related stats, such as crit protecttion, etc..

I realize that's a solution that involves logic and common sense, not to mention a little work, which isn't generally part of their process these days. Even so, it can't be that hard to do. If they weren't spending so much time and money trying to shove crown store gambling boxes down our throats, they could get it done.

It wouldn't solve PvP balance, as that's the Holy Grail, but it would go a long way to helping reduce the friction between the two communities, and give both something they can use and enjoy.
