The new update hpw3 big is the patch ?

I am just curios to know how big is the new patch that has been launched this week between 10 October and 14 October ? my Launcher wants to download 40gigs. is this correct because to me it seems as though 40gigs is the entire game.

PC patch 2.6.5 was about 222 MB. Have a look in the directory it's downloading to, and see if there's a partial download of "The Elder Scrolls Online" or "The Elder Scrolls Online EU" alongside your usual one. All you should need to do is rename your current installation to take the name of the one it's trying to download.

Is that the Patch Manifest "Version" error? If so, you could try deleting the .version files (or moving them to somewhere else). There is a .version file in each of the subfolders of the main directory: depot.version, game.version, and vo_xx.version, where xx is your chosen language (en, fr, de, or jp). Once they're gone (either deleted or moved), open the launcher, cancel any automatic updating, and then Repair the client.

Does repair function need to update files online after relating ?

Yeah, the first thing Repair should do is download the correct .version files, then check the rest of the files against the download server.

This program still wants to download 30 gigs. I have done all what has been mentioned to do. Now I am at a
