ZoS why do you keep giving us new motifs when we can't really use it?

When are you gonna give us new crafting stations instead of giving us new sets that requires us to grind the same dungeons/trials over and over again? These motif pages you're giving us are useless since people are truly going after the new sets that requires you to grind endlessly inside dungeons/trials, and they seem far more superior then the current crafting stations that we currently have at this moment.

At least give us the ability to convert our current armor/robes to whatever style we want.

Not to mention the only way to show your guild tag is to wear a tabard which ruins the look of any armor so you end up wearing costumes anyway. The only thing I check out anymore is the look of the weapons. But like you said, if you are using dropped sets you just live with what you get.

Reforging for styles is needed. Gives me something to useful for the full 9 trait research I have done.
This recent update has made me sad. Sad for the game. Sad for the community. Sad to pay whatever it is now. I want the previous eso back.

Nah ZoS wants you to forget all of that time you invested in getting those 9 traits... and just go and farm dungeons and trials for sets :)

I'm sticking to crafted sets, yes this means a hulking great dps loss but so what, I get to look Gooooood. Well better that pretty much any costume anyway. Why can't 9 trait crafters be allowed to change the look of their own gear, even if this means they can't do it for other players because of bind on pickup, at least this would give us a real end game reward.

Actually now that I think of it this is probably the main reason they don't. We know that they can do this because with a right click you can change the style to imperial provided you have the right game add on from the crown store. But if crafters could change the look of any gear all of a sudden the dedicated dungeon runners and pvp types who grind up their alts so fast that they only run the bear minimum of skill points would not be able to do it, what follows would be the normal whinging about wanting their cake and eating it. I would love to be able to change the look of dropped gear.

I only do normal dungeons now as I got fed up of the vet treadmill and I just can't grind for more sets, I've got millions in the bank but the sets in dungeons are bind on bloody pickup so the dungeon fans can't sell them anyway, which pillock thought that was a bright idea! The one thing that would get my dungeons interest back to to where it was would be being able to change the look of these sets, even if I could only do it to my own stuff. I don't care now amazing a dropped set is, if it makes me look like another garbage grab bag of bits then I'm not using it and I'm certainly not going to hunt for it.

Some would rather farm than craft. It's always been this way. Don't see the problem. I enjoy doing both, but then again, I enjoy playing MMOs -_-

Make a system were we can make out own costumes by compining motifs. :)

Considering that, for the first time in the game's history, we now have a Crown Store exclusive motif (Grim Harlequin), and another coming soon (Stalhrim), ZOS really ought to give us appearance changing - now!

You're paying real dollars for a motif, which can only be made with Crown Mimic Stones, that also cost real dollars, and yet you cannot - cannot! - use this motif unless you want to gimp your character with abysmal dps and stats. That is unacceptable!

If you sell new appearances for real money, you damn well have to make it viable to use those new appearances and not resulting in a gimp on your performance.

There are like a million ways to do this technically.
    - Make a master crafter able to change into the motifs he knows, costing a style stone. The transmogrify solution.
    - Or give a character 3 new costumes, one for light, medium and heavy, when they know a full style motif, so they can put on this costume and look like the style. The costume solution
    - Or give us all a "cosmetic" slot for every "equipment slot" we have, and let us be able to craft an item that is purely cosmetic, and will override the appearance of the equipment slot.

I get that you want us all to look ugly so that we'll keep buying costumes and feeding you money, but when you're selling crown store exclusive motifs now, that's no longer an excuse.
