Champion points saved to account?
Before you say "wait you have 8 other slots for characters" hear me out
If I delete my main toon who has 182 CP, I will have no other toons to play and have to start anew. If I start anew will I still get those 182 CP when I hit 50, or does my main still have to exist for me to get the points?

you account has nothing to do with your main, so no you can delete away. heres an idea. delete the main AFTER filling 8 slots and really needing another.
the notion you would delete all that time for zero reason is either mindblowing or just strait trolling5 -
SheepdogPaladin✭✭✭I have firsthand experience with this. Last year, I quit the game and I deleted all of my characters. I donated everything in the bank to my guilds but kept the gold. Prior to doing this, I had around a hundred champion points.
When I returned to the game a year later, I created a new character from scratch. When I entered Tamriel, I still had full access to all of my champion points and could even immediately apply them to my newly created character. The gold I left in the bank was still there and accessible.5

Pink_Violinz✭✭✭✭✭Don't quote me on this, but I would image the cp stay even if you delete everything. Cp are bound to your account after all, not any of your characters. Even if you delete your only cp char and only have a level 3, that level 3 still has x cp despite not being able to gain any for themselves.0 -
