I knew about the +/-5 levels as the cutoff for Xp, I didn't know that also applied to the loot drops.

I'll stick to my spot where I get 1 every 2-3 mins and if I'm with a group I only need to lay down a mine every 30 seconds to inflict damage and can be semi afk

I've completed all the achievement so other than motif farming I'm done with the event

A little offtopic here but anyone know a link with a full list of possible loot from this event? Like all recipes / costumes (don't need need for motif obviously since it's in the achievements).

Nope, I its a CS exclusive, when I go to a dye station and hover over the colour it said something like "This is unavailable and a Crown Store Exclusive" or something like that

I am not sure that there is a time limitation on skull drops in MA. You get a 100% drop from the chest, and chest spawns as soon as you finish the stage.

Not true. I did 3 runs last night but failed to get the skull to drop in one of my chests. There's a cooldown, however it seems to be very short.

You don't need to buy the voucher again, as the achievement is awarded for drinking from the cauldron the first time. If you want that on an alt simply select the whistle from the mementos to activate the cauldron again for that alt. Did it on 3 other characters until now.

yep, do your pledges, if you're done with those, any public dungeon with lots of bosses. Farmed everything yesterday in about 4hrs just downing bosses every 3min

It's okay though. You guys get all the glitches and lag whilst you squint to read what motif you just got from the skulls hoping it wont lag out and log you off before you finish the setence (in your tiny, dusty computer screens) so the people where the money is at (console players) can have a nice, smooth gaming experience on the 50inch HD screens.

It's official guys:

I went from Level 17 to Level 24 in one run of Maelstrom Arena using Training gear, XP scroll and the event XP buff. Along with 9 Plunder Skulls. Grind away.

Agreed, with One Tamriel it's a chance for a character to run a different alliance's delves and get the skyshard as well as then fighting the boss for the xp, achievement, and skull.

They do; any boss monster or enemy should drop them, including quest bosses.

Camped the boss in Grotto of Depravity for 4 hours on the first night while streaming some Penny Dreadful. Finished all 14 pages, the witchmothers brew recipe, and bloody mara, AND the mask.

Also walked away with 10 daedra hearts from deconning her shields, and a bunch of palladium from her set drops.

I got all the motif chapters, all recipes, and one mask from over 100 skulls collected just doing the pledge veteran dungeons and some extra farm runs in 3 days. No need farming the skulls specifically.

In about 130 Skulls I've had three mask drops, all the SAME mask! Have all motifs and recipes many times over now however.
