It seems as if they've just taken Rayles and the smurph scroll as it's just south of there, whilst other bananas have stayed behind at the gate to stop them chasing the scroll.
Many people are doing holiday event and gear grinds . This complaint was made while DC is still number one in the campaign . No one should be expecting others to stop pvping until the event and grind is over . TF is the most evenly populated server so it's up to the PvP players to keep playing and maintain number one spot in the campaign .
The complaint was made by one person really who doesn't represent all of DC. People havin fun with all sorts of things as they should. Pvp will pick up sooner or later.
I am realizing that and don't put this on all DC . I've been away grinding too and only PvP a little each day during holiday event . It's just probably the same for EP too right now . This campaign is a little irrelevant to me as it started with one Tamriel launching , had a low pop bug and now witches holiday . Surprised people are still so passionate about this one .
Correct. It's generally understood if a major patch like this drops that the campaign is understaffed by most factions. This usually results in "eh that cycle didn't matter".
Though it would be funny if DC won this cycle despite major patch and holiday event. Mostly because AD has to pvd, and still lose.
lol That PvDoor stuff . Be careful because everyone that backcaps a scroll keep during prime time usually only gets away with it by a quick PvDoor assault . That would be some of your good guilds you're talking about . The BlackBoot FD Brigade .
So if you don't approve of PvDoor be sure to tell everyone on siege to hit the keep slow and only need 3 trebs so enemies can respond .
PvD is completely taking over a map with minimal opposition (3 bars versus 1).
What you mentioned is a strategy to pull numbers away from the main front. Something AD have also been doing last cycle and still lost the campaign.
Of course , cause that's the strategy of every great General in history ...
What?

Blah blah blah Mojican. I wish I could care about ap anymore. I'm sitting on a pile of it with literally nothing to do with it anymore. I think most people just want exciting/fun fights. You might find garnering emp via pvdooring exciting but it's more exciting to see you lose it when the fights are balanced and somewhat fair. And I would say the same thing if I was on my AD.
PVDoor? Where you actually there lol? Seriously I wasn't online. I am pretty sure it was RAM, and it happened around 10am CT. I know you can generally expect vanzan, and another dc guild to be online. So I would be interested to know if you can actually substantiate your claim.
BTW contrary to popular belief I could careless about AP. I enjoy fighting, and that happens to also yield AP. We actually chose to yolo on the scroll while the tick was about to go off. It stimply felt good to be rewarded after such a tough fight.
I understand though if you enjoyed PvDooring the southern keeps. I know you love taking keeps.

Was the 3v24 fight at Roe not fair in some way? Was 3 factions, 1 keep in some way not fair?

Funny you say this. Joshua Warren must have read my forum post. He messaged me in game and asked me who was pvd on AD side. I told him. He then proceeded to tell me he wasn't going to form up until DC pulled their <insert word for man parts> out and formed up to fight fair.
In that single message (despite the dig at my friends) I developed immense respect for him. He's a stand up guy.

Thanks! Just wanna clarify that I didn't intend a dig at either DC or AD there -- it's probably easier to visualize AD side cuz we're in the south, but I classify the two gate-adjacent, formative keeps of any faction as the sort of anatomical keep that it really hurts to get kicked in. It's not legally binding or anything, but in general I won't put a group together if AD has all their own stuff plus ownership of an enemy's snippicle keeps. So I didn't mean "we'll port in once you grow some you-know-whats DC" so much as I meant "we'll hit the L key once blue takes Rayles and Warden back"
Most of DC is too busy working wayrest patrol duties and taking the ERP to Craglorn due to the influx of dirty elf/drink tourists.
But it's ok. We still won't see DC numbers in cyro since the holiday event now started. Especially with the proc sets this patch, it will take some time for everyone to flood into TF.

I was referencing your praise of AD loosing the southern keeps + scrolls, but you are complaining about DC loosing things to an overwhelming force with few defenders. Considering what was needed to defend against multiple EP/DC raids at Alessia it is fair to say the southern keeps had few defenders.
I am trying to point out the hypocrisy in your conflicting statements. I don't know why I waste my time though. You are wrapped up only in your own world, and every word you write can be described as so.

There have been plenty of times I have sat in faragyl watching as blue and reds hordes hit black boot and blood mayne respectively while fellow ad are no where to be seen.... well Alessia bridge methinks. A few hours later when the people get home from work we have all our stuff back, I continue to be amazed how that happens. I don't recall any AD forum post complaining about it the first time or the 50 th time.

Siiiiiiiigh. First of all, to respond to your first inaccurate snipe at me: yes I was there at 5pm est when approx 30 balled up AD stormed north and wiped out every blue keep and took both Scrolls against roughly 3-5 DC that were on. Vcvc was one of the few and if he's on the forums he can back up my claims.
And just so we are clear: whether it's done to DC, AD or EP it is indicative of cowardly scrub gameplay. As for me myself and I, I am the last person you will see running in a 30 man group with 3 bars of DC against 1 bar of AD and EP. This is why I had always avoided Haderus. I'm the reckless one running out in front of groups, often to my demise, because I love a good fight and enjoy the outnumbered fights-but being wailed on by 30? I'm not crying about it, just drawing attention to it in the hopes that everyone eventually knocks it off.
Moji, I know full well Telel's style isn't your style. I never meant to imply it was all of AD's style.

Telel has explained how COH tries it's best to be sportsmanlike and provided evidence. The fact of the matter is DC had a huge, 1200 point advantage and getting pushed yesterday was warranted.
Also there are many times where DC is losing ground when populations are even, or DC pushes when they have a higher population, so keeping score of specific instances like this doesn't make much sense to me.
There have been many other instances in different circumstances when we have advocated for not pushing DC because they were at a population or score disadvantage - Believe it or not Telel has done so in COH groups and in zone chat, and other COH leaders have done so too.
Despite the combatitive words on here and the forum pvp, COH respects DC (and EP) and we want campaigns to be competitive. We have taken a lot of individual actions on this over time and if you don't believe it, I'm sorry.
This does not preclude us from doing our part to help push hard when it is necessary. So I respectfully disagree with your assessment that it was unfair to push DC when you guys were up in score by over 1000 points.
One could argue that it would be a sportsmanlike move of DC to not complain about another faction catching up in score when there are still 2 weeks of fighting left in the campaign. I understand if you prefer DC's lead to have been left unchallenged, but there you go.
In summary, I will not be surprised nor will I be offended if DC comes at us very hard this weekend. Bring it, enjoy yourselves, and no hard feelings.

I guess it has to be dumbed down. There is a big difference between groups of 30 rolling maps against a few defenders when those groups have a blatantly larger population in the campaign at that given moment and groups of 30 taking the map when the populations are relatively even. I mean what do these guilds say to themselves when they enter the campaign and see they have 3 bars and their opponent has 1? Here's our chance to exact revenge for all the times they kick our rumps in when the fights are more fair?

I mean, you couldn't take a defended keep the last two nights with the help of the EP zerg, but somehow DC only wins fair fights? AD loses the map when there are faction events going south on both sides of the map, not when singular DC groups go through herculean efforts to secure keeps by themselves. The last DC guild that could claim that was VE, and no offense to current DC guilds meant by that... I just see room for improvement still even though they're better than the last time I decided to pvp seriously.

It was a specific incident I chose to highlight. You don't like that I highlighted it and called your friends out. I get it but highlight it I did and I'm sure if you were there yesterday you had awesome fun fighting our guards at every single keep you took.

Why do you feel the need to run around to every post I make and point out the obvious? Not a single player here represents an entire faction. I speak for me and only me and only share my opinions on specific stuff I see go on in pvp from time to time. Get off my leg, dude.

Well kudos for using footage from today, I wasn't in cyro at the time, but I recognize the sequence of scroll pickups from frogblast.
The OP's primary point was in the difference in numbers before prime time. Sure, some places were defended by DC and it looked like a lot of DC, but you basically encountered the ENTIRE DC population at that temple and they still didn't have enough to stop you.
You have 20-30 running with the scroll and got attacked by what looked like about 15 DC. You popped open the map and AD was holding DC at Ni-Mohk gate while the large escort stayed with the scroll.
EP was silent even though you had two of their keeps. Why? Probably because you had the people to defend their keeps as well... and tonight, you had enough people to actually defend your last emp keep from two factions at the same time. I don't think I've ever actually seen that happen. TWO factions gave up on a dethrone because it was such a *** show.
Don't get me wrong, your group played pretty well, and I definitely facepalmed while watching some of those DC encounters.
Considering it was khajiit's group that took Rayles, then Glade, pushed the Alma Ruma scroll, and then got Warden going in the time leading up to that clip this one feels that accusations of 'PVDooring' and 'bringing 30 to fight 3-5' required a response. Some people were also elf enough to state that the ones who took those keeps were poor sports.
So here we have the group that took the keeps, and one scroll, not only going up against a good number of defenders, but openly stating that we will not be defending the scroll keeps once we have the scrolls. For you see Telel is indeed a believer in good sportsmanship even if they are the worth NB in the entire game.
You might also notice that the clip begins with us wiping a dozen and more bloops who were trying to attack an otherwise empty keep. Telel is a fan of irony as a comedic device.
As for not seeing the Dumbminion handle two factions before you'll also hear this one mention how 'we're getting purpled so hard later tonight' during the clip. This is because we've become so used to the almost scheduled double teaming that many of us just consider it as something to work around after we return from dinner.
In fact you'll see it occur every night on Trueflame. Usually sometime around 8PM EST though it varies by up to an hour. Once the griffs pop lock, the bloops suddenly get a surge of players. Those players then proceed to push down into the dumbminion keeps and split the area neatly between them in a 'totes not team purple' move.
Lately the bloops will leave Alessia alone as they take everything else because they know that the bridge bums and AP mules won't defend or push anything so long as they have a spawn point. This is the strategy that got the Digdugdug Corpulent its 1300 points lead during the last week with the group bug.
It was also an event that repeatedly led to a handful of Dumbminionites defending or trying to take keeps from dozens of bloops with a paltry handful of players.
And you'll also not see humble khajiit running to the forums to make elf faces over the matter. Unless of course someone elfishly tries to accuse them, and their small group of 'terribad' players of trying to kill the campaign.

You start primetime with both Ash and BRK consistently and then call it purple team hen both factions take back their home keeps... Come on Telel, you aren't that stupid.
