Please don't make housing with in game gold

I'm sitting on 5.8M gold now and I've never cheated anyone. In fact I've set my prices in guild stores 5-10% lower than MM average for months because I wanted to sell quickly. Accusing someone of being a "cheater" for having lots of gold is simply dumb. In fact I don't understand how so many people on this forum whine they are broke, because making money along the way, without even concentrating on it is just so easy and I've scarcely found anything I would spend them on. I haven't even bothered to sell the good stuff, like gold and purple tempers, kuta, nirncrux and alchemy plants. I simply stack them for future use and only sell the surplus more common stuff like other runes, lower level base materials, and some BoE set pieces that I've got and I don't use, sometimes motif books I already have learnt. I would like to have something worthwhile to spend my money on, and housing would be such a thing, especially if it comes with extra purchasable storage - ATM I have 2 chars tied down with keeping gear, most of which is BoP.

If you allow housing to be purchased with in game gold you will be rewarding all those cheaters in game .
You let them keep all those mats and become rich . To be fair make housing upgrading tied to your achievements ..

So you think the majority of Players should be penalised because some people have ill gotten gains!

I would suggest you are wrong.

You people just never are satisfied. Anyone remember the threads made for especially demanding playerhousing via ingame gold?

As for external gold sellers and cheaters there is really nothing we as a players can do about it other than report them to the proper people and then wait.

I don't have the time to go around and get cash, I come home from work and want to play ESO PVP that's it.

I honestly could not care less what you think as I can put my cash wherever I wish to. I find PVE boring unless there is an event going on. And I am always in PVP I don't have time to grind my characters anymore. This is a way for ESO to generate money and Yes I know it is rather expensive, but for some players online it is one way they can enjoy all aspects of the game without having to PVE grinding to get cash/leveling.

Anyone should be able to buy housing! Why not? Yes I remember having to buy your own mount before the crown store, *heck I bought my mate one because he couldn't afford it because he did not have the time to get the in game money.

Anyone can buy costumes, polymorphs ect if they choose to! Its all a matter of choice, I think PERHAPS housing should be able to be bought with in game money and crown store cash. I see no reason why new players can't experience what ESO is now, not what it was.

Well, I see your point but I just still don't understand why does anybody want to buy houses with crowns? Why everything needs to be in the crown store nowdays? So many people were asking for barber shop and what? They made it exclusive to the crown store and less people can now afford to take advantage of it. You may have money to waste on digital stuff but others may not.

As I said, I see your point of view and wonder why are you asking for being able to buy houses in the crown store instead of being able to buy them with your AP which you - as a pure PvPer - should have a lot.

Not necessarily an hour a week, but...

" I find PVE boring unless there is an event going on. And I am always in PVP I don't have time to grind my characters anymore. "

If you find PvE boring and are always fighting in Cyrodiil, with no time to gather a little gold, then why do you want a house?

There's a lot of people on this site going

"I don't do xyz, but all the same I think it should be the way I want it to be".

I didn't even go in PvP until I became proficient at PvE because I didn't want to make a fool of myself. Avoiding scripted attacks from various mobs and bosses in dungeons is way easier than going against a human player who actively responds to your actions. I can breeze trough most veteran dungeons but I'm not that good at PvP although I'm almost AR 17 on my main. I have still much to learn there, I don't have specialized gear and I don't use any proc set. I agree though that doing only PvP leaves you pretty cash strapped.

    Changing the game?drastically,

The crown store has been there for an option for players to buy anything they want/need, there is no reason for you to buy anything if you don't want to spend your cash on it fine.

I want to see what the housing is like so YES even though I am a PVP player only I will buy a house because I want to experience one! Also house party and cake.

Like I said Tyrion87 I can understand that some players may not be able to afford to buy housing in the crown store and yes there should be an option for you to use in game money OR crown store money, but with all games these days if you want the exclusives, you gotta pay real money for them. I know it sucks, but welcome to 2016.

AP wise, yes I do have a lot and I use it constantly however I use my AP for Tents and the golden ect :)

I'd like to see it purchasable with gold, crowns, ap and telvar then it would be truely obtainable to everyone. I especially like to see a combo in that you can use what you have to get it I.e I have 160000 telvar, about 1 mill ap between character as I bought a friend some stuff and spend it on war stuff bricks, treb pots . And only 460000 gold.
I'd like to pay with a bit of all of these, a combo to be honest not forced but option so that others strong in ap aloud to use that, those with gold that, etc and yes even crowns because I don't want people left behind.
PS4 EU 1200+ cp - I enjoy RP, Housing, PVE and PVP

Yes to bots and i understand those who have done it the right way . But there are alot more people playing that in game gold is not there idea of playing. Ive been playing since 1 month after release . I have plenty so im not in game poor . Just frustrated .. but still love game

So what type of quests do you have in mind and for which players?

Is the level of house tied to difficulty in level of quest? Eg end game players get the castles, while people new like me, get a cave?

If so… no thanks. I’d rather graft in game and hand over the gold. im even happy to use crown store for purchases.

I think the more ways you can get and improve your house, the better. Whether that be questing, gold or crowns. That way, everyone is included.
That's actually an awesome idea. Have a big castle tied to dro'mathra destroyer. Then I don't need to spam my achievement in zone chat, I can just buy the biggest castle to show how awesome I am.
Those with Flawless Conquerer will get a small house, those with Stormproof a tiny hut and the rest just needs to get better achivements :P

And Master Anglers get an entire beach resort. :p
