Make items crafted in the Grim Harlequinn style Bind On Pickup

It's too late for us to even hope for ZOS to change their mind about introducing crown-exclusive motifs, but the change I'm suggesting can be done by changing a few simple lines. It could realistically be done with a 50-60 MB patch and a few hours of dev time.

Simply put, if I'm a crafter, come the 13th I'll be able to spend real money in order to get a distinct advantage over my competition. This advantage isn't just "convenience", as there's no way for other crafters to get this advantage without paying real money for it. Nor is this crown-motif just a cosmetic, since having the motif will enable you to charge your customers higher prices. Higher prices means more gold, and more gold means those who buy this motif will be able to afford better potions and better gear than those who don't buy it. This is pay-to-win, and this goes directly against what was promised to us when the crown store was first announced.

Which leads me to my solution: make all items crafted in the Grim Harlequinn style Bind on Pickup. I can't buy potions, poisons, or food in the crown store and trade them to other players (or vendor them for gold) for a very good reason: because it introduces an indirect, dev-sponsored way to turn real money into in-game gold. The Grim Harlequinn motif (and, sadly, likely the Stahlrim motif as well) is no different.

Meh. I'm buying the motif because the helm and shield looks badass. If people want to pay me a fair crafting fee since I'll have to use mimic stones, I'm okay with it. As an FYI, I'll be doing the crafts for free for anyone that supplies the material.

Nope, and in the spirit of a free market, people will make their choices.

As a point, I'm not happy with Zenimax for treading down this slipppery slope. I agree with most of the reasoned sentiment that's been offered against it. That being said, I see a shiny I like so I'm going to get it.

the price is right, you get 54 mimic stones with the motiff, the mimic stones by themselves cost more then the motiff pack

should stay tradeable, that way people who don't wanna buy it can get armor in the style.

I also agree they should stay tradable ..... not all players are out to make a fortune off a motif .... I for one will be helping friends/guildies as it was normal armor .....

If a random player requests this, I will craft as normal .....if they have the mats, just tip ..... if not, we will discuss .....

BTW .... This is not an invitation to spam me for this armor .....
