Overland sets weaponry is extremely hard to farm

Overland Bosses and Public Dungeon bosses are dropping weapons from each of three sets in that zone, but with very low rate.
Jewelry used to be very hard to farm but now they have one sure place to drop (Dark Anchors) while weapons are hardly droping from world bosses and public dungeon Bosses have very low HP and are being easily melted in 1-3 seconds with a long respawn time, so instead of sharing the loot pool with other pieces of armor these weapons should be dropping from one specific source, you can check how rare they are by looking at prices in vendors.

Can we take a look in how these drops are working now? (BTW the promissed "smart loot" is far from working as it should, im getting tons of bows of magicka sets and staves of stamina sets for example).

All this is extremely new to the entire PC population, outside of those that participated in the PTS. I'd assume EVERYONE is farming. There are numerous threads about it and I understand the frustration.

Like all things, be patient. People will start getting what they are looking for or move on. In a week/month I'm sure you'll see a change.

Edit:the last part, I thought that only pertained to dungeons, not world bosses or delve bosses?

Agreed. I have been farming a LOT, and weapons and shields are dropping much less than armor pieces.

I would have much rather seen a setup like weapons & shields drop from overland bosses, and the armor pieces are split between delves and public dungeons. It would really help for farming the piece you need.

Looking forward to the grind. I actually like killing Overlands bosses and doing Dolmens. I can't wait to try them out with the increased difficulty (console player here).

Can't decide whether to farm overland sets straight away, or focus purely on new monster sets/ dungeon sets until the dust settles somewhat on the overland ones

Better is to grind money and buy them from guildtraders. So far for the sets I wanted I had the most useless traits.

I have been farming a specific dungeon for 6+ hours a day for a week. I've yet to get a 1h Sharpened and I need 2 of them. The grind is just disgusting. It shouldn't be this intense for a game like eso.

I estimate I've done well over 100 runs of this specific dungeon by now. If I had to take a guess I'm somewhere around 120 ish runs and no Sharpened 1h.

That's what I did in the end. I grew bored of standing in one place for hours, waiting for dolmen and boss to respawn on rotation. It's a mind-numbingly tedious task and I prefer my games to be fun. I'll pass. All I got so far is one purple ring, the rest is in wrong traits (if I didn't see it on guild store, I'd doubt if Infused even exists) or doesn't drop (bugged Plague Doctor legs).

While Overland Bosses CAN be killed solo it takes a veeeeeery long time to do so, like 7+ mins , the quickest one seems to be that Netch of Stonefalls.

In under 3 mins I can solo those 2 liches in Bankorai. In fact most (not all) overland bosses are less then 5 mins so far if I solo them.

Spinner for example, i have armor and jewelry enough for two toons since im farming it from day 1, even most pieces being impen and divines but so far i have seen ONE shield only and no one handed weapons.

Sun is is the same, full jewelry (sold 2 rings btw) all armor pieces, no shields, no one handed weapons(except one bow and one two handed lol).

I find it harder to get weapons from dungeon sets since they only drop from lastboss, and you cant farm that at the rate you can world bosses in overland.

Set weapons drop from treasure chests, both world chests and map chests.

I got some nice purple ones with good traits.

7 minutes? LOL, maybe if your dps is bad. They only have like 1m health at most i think, takes like 1min tops for me to do world boss depending on its HP pool.

Every boss is different, as i said there are ones split in 3 with 1mil hp, there are others more spongy with low damage, others that hit hard but die fast.

It all depends on how much you need to cast shields, roll dodge etc etc
