Battlegrounds, ever?

Will we ever see battlegrounds or real arena pvp? Cyrodiil is going down hill so fast it's not even funny. Any good campaign is plagued with terrible lag and 5fps... Will we ever get any good non lag pvp? This 400 man zergs are dumb as can be.

it's not spectacular, it doesn't challenge you as a player, etc etc. sure, that's probably what life was like in such an army. however, Hollywood neither makes movies about "that random guy in the Roman army 208th division, 8ths row, 24th from the left who basically just did as he was told, walked around with his shield and spear up high and was part of a successful war where thousands like him walked over some other army.
it's a fantasy mmorpg, not a medieval warfare simulator (otherwise most chars would just die from starvation or some infection)@bbu - AD/EU

do not get me wrong, I also prefer small scale battles, but my point was, that zerging is a base war tactics (the same as small tactical combat groups), so you can not get a war in any game without zergs being there too
there are tactics against zergs, zerg bomber builds or skills that do aoe damage are one of them, but still the best tactics against a zerg is get a bigger zerg!!
