Maintenance for the week of April 6:
• [IN PROGRESS] ESO Store and Account System for maintenance – April 8, 9:00AM EDT (13:00 UTC) - 6:00PM EDT (22:00 UTC)
To be honest I barely see people using it. It sounds nice, but if you actually compare it to other skills it's not that good:
- Incap does slightly lower damage, applies 2 strong buffs and is so cheap, that I'll have it up again in 10s when I kill someone
- take flight does similar damage (depending on targets armour) is noticably cheaper and does aoe damage
- Dawnbreaker does more damage if you include the dot, is a bit cheaper and is aoe.
Additionally at the point when you can kill your enemy with that skill to get it up again, the enemy would usually also die if you hit him with a single executioner. So why use your ultimate on him in the first place.

I keep hearing from the forums that SS is rubbish and nerf'd and in game I'm finding it a great combo with a well placed CC, even against those that break the CC very fast. It's morph Shatter Soul works great with VD and Proxy.
Just wish it had the Mage Guild passives attached to it :P
Love how this thread is neglected (sorry op). Only shows how much you should value people's ideas and complaints. First a ton of sh..tstorms about this ult and now noone even bothers to talk about it.

Exactly! I especially like when a dev replies with hard stats that counter everyone's complaints. Heavy armor and undaunted traits come to mind.
I think it's because the alternatives are so much more OP than this Ult, which is simply too situational to slot on most builds.
Dawnbreaker is a massive AoE burst of damage+Large DoT with an AoE knockdown. It also passively buffs you.
Incap Strike costs 50Ult, applies Major Defile, deals massive Burst, and applies a buggy CC that guarantees another hit even against the most reactive players. It also passively buffs you.
Overall this Ult can be really powerful/ unfair but you kinda need to play around it. What's the point when you can just run certain severely OP Stamina setups during this Stamina meta and slaughter everyone with normal tactics & Dawnbreaker/Incap?
