Magicka sustainability

RyuHyabusa427
Is it best to invest CP's into magicka cost reduction or should I invest into recovery or even a split? PvP

    If you're at max CP;

    100 in cost reduction, 20-30 into tumbling, THEN the rest into recovery.

    As a magicka build you need some roll-dodge/break-free reduction otherwise you'll end up being a sitting duck.

    Don't ever put 100 points into anything. Pretty much maxed out at 89, 80 should be more than enough.
    Reduce cost doesn't stack as well as recovery so if you are wearing worm cult or seducer you should have more into recovery

    If not wearing either set then put more into reduce cost

    Totally agree. I might be missing something, I'm no math wiz, but the usual amount of benefit from about 75-100cp into something amounts to a few percent at most. I can maybe see the advantage in pve where the amount of trees you spread your cp across is reduced, but for pvp putting 100cp into anything seems like such a waste of cp.

    The most common is 100 in cost reduction, rest in recovery.

    I never put more than 10% into cost reduction, you have to be casting to get a benefit from it, while with regen you gain all the time.
