While re-doing Craglorn main quest line, I am taking my time this round and paying more attention to the dialog and story. And it has raised a few lore questions about the Celestials and the Stargazers Quest Story line. Note* No Spoilers, just starting story line.
Story summary~ The Celestial beings known as the Warrior & Mage have been corrupted by the Serpent and Thief Celestial is missing. Stargazers say the Constellations have "disappeared" from the night sky.
Ok, here's the issue. The "stars" of Tamriel are not physical objects like our stars. The sun and stars are "holes" in the boundary of Mundas created by Magnus and the other Aedra who fled Mundas during the Dawn Era.
*"Those Aedra who managed to escape the mortal plane before being completely trapped created the rest of the sky. Magnus was still close to full strength when he fled, and in doing so, punched a hole in the sky (Oblivion) directly through to Aetherius itself, which mortals see as the sun. The other Aedra had weakened considerably further by the time they fled, thus their escape caused much smaller rifts in the sky, making up the multitude of stars. Magnus and the Magna Ge's departure from the mortal plane allowed magicka to enter Nirn from Aetherius."*

So question is ~ How did they disappear? Did the holes fill back in? Is the magic of those "constellations" blocked? Is this just a case of "Dungeon Master Oops"?
Also, the "Celestials" are man made representations of the constellations created thousands of years after the creation of the "stars", but story line is the constellations "vanished" when the celestials were shattered.?
*"The most powerful Celestials represent the Constellations, but despite their godlike powers even these Celestials are mortal. Celestials were first created in the Merethic Era by the ancient star-worshiping Nedes of the Deathlands."*

As i said, a lore nerd observation, but after being a "DM" for years playing D&D, i tend to see the small details in a adventure sometimes.
Any Lore Masters care to share their thoughts?

Because ZoS Said so besides who says a hole can also be a sphere, a Black "Hole" is.

Not that it really matters, but there's no reason the holes punched by the Aedra can't be spherical. It's easy to view the entire model using a geocentric model, but, it's entirely possible that the holes exist in fully three dimensional space and connect out into Oblivion.

Best guess... and this IS a guess, the Serpent is actually obstructing those holes, and siphoning the power for itself. ...which holds the anthropomorphized entities that represent those specific combinations of exit points under it's control, because reasons?
