what I don't understand is why they couldn't have had a little longer maintenance window on Monday, so as not to need a second one on Tuesday. Also this was not initially listed with the rest of the maintenance windows for the week, but was added to the list after the Monday patch maintenance...or did I just answer my own question...was there a problem with Monday's patch maintenance that you have to roll back or fix?

Not an issue with Monday's patch. It's a partial implementation of the grouping fix for Cyrodiil. It appears that part of it has been tested to be working properly so they want to roll it out ASAP. And no, it won't take 8 hours to do. Gina stated in the announcement it will be approximately three hours. As @Ackwalan stated, OP is clearly a victim of first world problems

Why do you defend it? It was supposed to be in Mondays patch,per Wheeler. I guess you missed this part while you worried about my complaining:

Tomorrow beginning at 6:00am EDT, we’ll be performing a hotfix to partially fix the issue where you’re removed from a group after using a Transitus Shrine in Cyrodiil. However, please note that there’s still an outstanding issue where you can be removed from a group if someone in your group is offline, and you use a Transitus Shrine or resurrect at a keep. We’re continuing to work on fixing this issue, and plan to have a fix in an upcoming patch. In the meantime, we suggest the group leader remove any offline members from the group to prevent this situation from happening.

I read it. Again, I'm still telling you to get over it so drop the attitude. I don't like that I'm missing two days of gameplay this week but stuff needs to be fixed so I put up with it.

I'm happy they are addressing the issue with gropes in Cyrodiil. Whilst ZOS could have been faster with the fixes and timed better the maintenances, all this was expected after such large update.

tall about atitude, you keep telling everyone to get over it. You can always leave the thread,some of us find vocalizing our frustration to be an outlet. as I stated above,this should have been done in the big update like Wheeler said it would.
