Just to clarify, in terms of vet trials, I have channeled focus double barred however, I can and will use Stalwart guard to switch one of them if needed for the crit damage. I keep it double barred mostly because it helps me keep it up 100% since it's so important to keeping my mana regen in top shape and I play on the console version so we do not have buff timers.

Also, yeah I know I am not using puncturing strikes. Sue me. lol

I find the Puncturing strike spam quite boring. Much prefer the ranged build.

This build uses Valkyn Skoria 2/2. I did think about Molag Kena but personally, I think I have enough DoTs to justify Valkyn and I dislike the mana issue that Molag gives you. Once my target hits that 40% HP threshold, I prefer my mana be above 50%. Plus, Skoria plays more into my Sun mage theme lol.

3/3 Moon dancers jewelry infused. I thought about infalliable mage but tbh, you don't heavy weave much between Dark flares and therefore it would kinda be a waste.

1 Maelstrom staff on front bars for light weaving between dark flares

1 willpower Staff (infused) on back bar. I prefer to keep wall on my back bars for convenience and therefore I do not dual wield. Plus, a sun mage dual wielding swords looks stupid.
