Request - Let us bank our Alliance Points like we can Gold and Tel Var Stones

With the only way to acquire gold jewelry for many of the sets coming from the Golden vendor, and costing 500k AP a piece, I think it's a good time to start letting us bank our AP. This isn't a request for account-wide Alliance Ranks, just the AP banking.

It's frustrating to want to play 3-4 different toons in PvP, have 300-400k AP on each of them, and not be able to buy something for 500k AP.

ZOS please.

Would be no problem is we alliance choice was account wide. But using "money" made by a DC character on an AD character makes very little sense.

Can you not do that with gold and tel vars already though? I've only made DC toons.

You earn gold and Tel Var by fighting mobs. It makes sense to share those rewards between characters regardless of faction. But AP is earned only by PvPing. Fighting other players from other factions.
Sharing it among characters of the same factions would make sense though, you're right on that point.

The problem of AP is their "mixed status" between currency and scoring unit.

I think AP could be bankable, but the point/scores isn´t. So you still need to swap character in order to level upp alliance war skilllines and or get into scoreboard. So the AP is still "bound" to a specific character.

Agreed, make it bankable. AP earned on character counts for skill progression and ranking but AP can be spent on any character.

Yes! I really wish I could store the bulk of my AP on one character like I do with gold.

But we already trade the items we purchase with AP with the other factions. It only means one can't instantly afford a lot of camps when rolling a new faction.

One can't even instantly use camps since they're behind an Alliance Rank level restriction, soooooooooo yeah.

This should happen sooner than later, especially since items like motifs, consumables, and monster set items (non pvp related items) can be bought with a universal currency.

Agreed, I mean hell I usually pull siege from my guilds bank when I am in BWB. Sometimes even buying siege on my non-vet and banking it for my vet characters to use... what's the difference lol.

I fully support this idea. The same user has earned all the AP, so we should be able to bank it all.
