Bat swarm increased ultimate cost?

When was bat swarm ultimate raised from 150 to 200 and why? Hardly anyone uses it, everyone is running dawn breaker or meteor which is more effective.

Seriously, if bat swarm is going to cost 200 then raise dawn breaker to 200. The upcoming op weapon ultimates should cost 200, or reduce bat swarm back to 150.

(Probably a stupid question) But are you sure you were a stage 4 vampire with all the correct passives? I know consoles live about 6 months in the past, but I haven't noticed any changes.

Well I did a skill respec but reallocated points on my passives. Does a skill respec reset vampire stage?

My batswarm costs me 183 or something like that and I play on console. Out of my 8 character slots.... 6 of my characters are vampires and I have never had any problem with the cost of the ultimate.

In my eyes even 200 ulti doesn't take long to gain in honesty.

I don't think so... not sure what is happening there. I thought on my sorc(Cost reduction passive included) the ultimate cost 128. If I remember correctly on my Mageblade it cost 158? I think that’s what it is sitting at now with my passives in and stage 4. I will have to wait till the server comes back up to check. (Hence the forum lurking haha)

Bats cost 158 in stage 4 vampirism on live. I believe 200 is the base cost before the cost reduction per stage is applied.

Sounds like you are missing a class / racial passive or you are not stage 4 vampire.

Got home and doubled checked the ult cost. I have all passives, stage 4, and my tool tip says 200. I'm on NA PC. Can you confirm that this is either a bug or intended? I have screen shots but haven't uploaded them yet.

Can someone on pc, not console, corroborate that it has indeed been increased? Or if it's just a bug on my character sheet? The ult box shows 200/200 and the tooltip reads 200.

Is this intended? I really can't think of a good reason why batswarm would be increased to 200 considering the release of far superior weapon ultimate that activate for cheaper costs. Hell, DoS is still superior and only cost 125. Hardly anyone is even running BS! Can we get this back to 150?!

And while we are at it can we get clouding swarm fixed? dots are breaking invis.

Sorcs get reduced ultimate from the power stone passive. Reduce ultimate cost by 15%... Not sure...

Looks as if you don't get the cost reduction from vamp stage 4. I'd feed on an enemy to lower your vamp stage and then just spam mist form to increase it again and see if that fixes it.

I've done that many times. Good suggestion though!

Would be helpful if a forum mod could look into this RFI. I've had it out since September...

So I tried again and it worked. I'm sitting at 158 now. Thanks.

@ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_JessicaFolsom weird bug buts its fixed. by reducing vamp levels and reapplying. May want to look into this...
