I’ve been playing ESO for maybe 5-6 months, and you would think by now I would have strong understanding of what I want to do, class wise.

So, I’m posting on the forums to get some general ideas and options; and I thank you in advance.

I have 3 level 50 characters already. For the most part they have been converted more into crafters for resources. So, I have no problem crafting gear or edibles.

One of my level 50s is a stamplar, and while I enjoy playing him I just feel there might be a better option out there. So, I’m thinking about creating another character with the goal of exploring all of Tamriel, questing, dungeons, exploring, etc.

My play style:
• I’m not interested in pvp, only pve
• I’m more melee minded. I leveled a mag nb with staves to 50 and I did not care for it; I needed to try though.
• I’ve been thinking a melee minded mag based character, but I don’t want to use staves.
• Mostly solo, always pve. I want to be able to group when needed as well.
• I don’t need to min/max, just be strongly viable.
• I’m also strongly considering Stam DK, but my hesitation is more about the fire skills looking a bit odd to me. As an example, breathing fire just does not fit my vision. A flaming sword? Sure! I wish DKs could pick lighting though 
• I have all races available


Anyways, I understand that pretty much all class combos are viable for pve. That being said, I would like to have one main moving forward.

Again, any thoughts?
