(SOLVED) PVP magicka sorc need advice

I am pretty new to the game and very new to Cyrodil playing a Breton magicka sorcerer.

I was wondering if i could have any advice on this skill set up as a basis to learn with for very small group or solo PVP in Cyrodil.

Destro bar:
Crushing shock
C-frags
Velacious curse
Power surge
Inner light
Storm atronach

Resto bar:
Healing ward
Harness magicka
Hardened ward
Streak
Inner light
Storm atronach

I don't like overload and want to keep things simple which a third bar does not.
Also I don't have access to the higher level skills in mages guild or fighters guild or I would probably replace surge with entropy and atronach on the destro bar with meteor.

With this set up is there anything big I am missing out on for either bar such as vital passives or does it look ok?

Any advice welcome please :)

    Those bars look pretty good. My recommendation would be dawnbreaker (or this patch possibly soul strike) for your front bar. Running the same ulti on both bars is simply repetitive and you miss out on utility. I like dawnbreaker because it adds a free 3k damage on top of your burst combo, and cc's the trolly rolly stamina builds.

    For your back bar I would recommend mines instead of inner light. Inner light adds maybe 1k shield to your hardened ward, while mines do wonders for alleviating pressure that stamina builds often put on.

    - There isn't much of a point slotting Inner Light on both bars. In fact, I wouldn't use it at all, but if you want to, you should keep it on one bar only. There are so many skills you could use instead, such as Boundless Storm, Endless Fury, Shuffle, Encase, Efficient Purge, Deadric Minefield.

    - Surge is such a long buff, you really should keep it on your resto bar. Seeing that you already have Atronach there, you might want to try Hardened Ward on your destro bar.

    - And better replace one of the Atronachs with another ult you have Access to, most likely Negate or Soul Assault now.

    Inner light imho is a waste and I'll replace it with shuffle on resto staff (in combo with shields is a big ass saver). Boundless storm is another must both for the major ward and the mobility. I don't like atronach in PvP: too easy to avoid I'll stick with negate magic and dawnbreaker of smith (for the knockout) or soul assault who should do fine in this patch.

    Looks more thought out already. One more thing I'd really recommend is that you place skills you might use in similar situations on the same keys for each bar respectively. For example either Hardened Ward or Harness Magicka on key X. That way you have a better chance to stay in the fight should you fumble or not be able to weapon swap for some reason.

    Slot Radiant Magelight instead of Inner Light on front bar. Its a life saver.

    This is my primary rule while seting up skills on any toon. Its the matter of preferences but I use on my mag sorc something like this:
    Destro lightning staff (HA + curse is just to good for those dodge rollers)
    1. Crushing Shock
    2. Frags
    3. Curse
    4. Harden
    5. Streak (Im putting in it here as I use it offensievly to make sure frags wont be dodged)
    6. Used to be Shooting star but now ill give a try to soul assault

    Resto bar
    1. Surge
    2. Volcanic Rune
    3. Minefield
    4. Dampen magic
    5. Healing ward
    6. Negate (its very situational but when used in right moment its zergbuster)

    Mines are awesome, but mines combined with volcanic rune are pure magic. There is nothing better than someone crit rushing on, eating 1-2 mines + poping up like pop corn on volcanic rune. Suddenly he has 10k hp less is cced and ready to eat frags. Believe me, if he has brain he will think twice before crit rushing you again.
    I'm done with this game because of ZOS pushing us into Vengeance, because they don't know how to fix Cyrodiil.

    My sorc bars currently look like this:

    Destro:
    Crushing Shock
    Crystal Fragments
    Endless Fury (you should be using an execute)
    Hardened Ward
    Velocious Curse
    ULT: Batswarm

    S&B:
    Surge
    Streak
    Daedric Minefield
    Harness Magicka
    Dark Exchange
    ULT: Overload

    I'm currently using Batswarm as I'm sick of meteor, it's so easily blocked and does next to no damage so I'm trying a few other things, Batswarm is actually very strong cause people never expect it from a MagSorc. More than likely I'll be using soul assault or eye of the storm once console gets one tamriel.

    As for overload, I don't use it offensively I simply use it for the 3rd bar, I keep rapids on there so I can move quickly once spawning and having to get back into the action, also keep defensive rune (lasts 2 minutes so don't have to use so frequently) and boundless storm on there, which I'll use just after I get off of my mount before entering battle so keep my resistances up.
