Pretty much this. In pve you have mobs and those mobs tho they can be tough, are predictable. X mob does this, this boss's mechanics are this.. and so on. Once you learn the mechanics, you've got it beat.

PvP gives us something more challenging. Its unscripted. You don't know what you are coming up against with a player. Their mechanics change, you may know and understand the class that your opponent is playing but the player itself is unpredictable. Its more satisfying, in some regards to beat that player or even to get rekt by said player than pve mobs and bosses.

Just my opinion :) I love both aspects of the game.

There is no point in PVP when you make a thread proving there is a game breaking bug that can be replicated, and that thread just gets completely removed from the forums. Even though nothing in that thread showed how it was done, just that it was possible.

the point is that it gives people the opportunity to test themselves against something other than the games ai.

i stopped reading the op at the word 'bruh'

why? because it's annoying in the same way that hearing a poodle yap is annoying.

As a very recent convert to pvp (even made a thread so I could witter on about it) PLEASE don't be so disparaging or devisive. It is a totally different way of playing as is not about learning the correct rotation for the last boss in x dungeon - its unpredictable & wild & utterly chaotic. And so much bloody fun!

And sometimes dull, tbh. Riding across lots of open countryside to get back to the battle when you have been killed & there's no-one able to get near you to revive you is dull. But you do it. And you love it.

(See? Am now even defending pvp.and thinking about builds. I have totally gone to the dark side >:) )

    Why are we here?

Oh... reading another one of the Ch4mpTW(tm)'s threads? Well that sucks.

Is this is a nerf Templar thread ?

@Rohamad_Ali No. I like both of my templars' current performance in PVE, and would be saddened if they were nerfed due to their performance in PVP. And since we both know that ZOS has a bad thing with hurting PVE when they make changes due to PVP, I'd like to avoid another situation like what happened to magicka-based sorcerers and or dragonknights by all means possible. #LeaveRadiantAlone2016

Then I guess the point of PvP for me is to learn new ways to win with my class . A lot of people said Magblade was terribad when I started this out and now I am winning against more and more people , fine tuning as I go . In PvP there is no I win guarantee and that is why I like it above PvE . PvE gets predictable while PvP remains fluid as new people come up with new ideas . That is the point of PvP to me .

Pretty insightful stuff. However, I suppose it (PvP) has lost its appeal and overall shine to me. Not just the core of it, but also what it's become. I used to love it, and nowadays I can't even spend a hour within Cyrodiil, without feeling as though I'm wasting my: Energy, thoughts, and time within it. I suppose it's a case of "different strokes for different folks".

Don't worry at least you can still play ESO after what ZOS has done lately in the past months to current. Me personally as of 2 weeks ago. From being a 2014 release player with many many USD and max leveled and geared characters both magicka and stamina. I can't even be ask to start up the ESO launcher at current.

My energy far I can spend on ESO is just maybe one a week or so responding to a forum post or two. Mostly keep a eye to the forums to see if I'm missing anything. Unfortunately every week I spend time to read these forums just reinforces my decision to continue to not log in. Not out of boycott, but because ZOS has completely alienated me and maybe others, after much support giving to the ESO cause, both physical and financial.

WvWing on another not so decent MMO, but way better class balance and ease of access then ESO, that has gotten rid most of it's RNG gates for gear and stats. Currency exchange over %100 dumb RNG system ftw! Some form of balance over what ever you want to call what ESO currently have a balance ftw! A RvR system where I'm not punished for wanted to be a Ranged Spell Caster, ALL THE WAY FTW!

Again I wish ZOS the best of luck, and that the players ZOS have replaced me for are supporting them as much or even more then I was. Again no you can not have my stuff or my account. Unless you provide so sort of compensation for my time and effort. Other then that my ESO account will go to the grave with me. If hackers do hack my account I'll get it back from ZOS and purposely cheat. Youtube me cheating, and then send it in the ZOS. So they can just make sure no one else touches my time and effort spent by permanently banning my account.

what's the point of PVP? well, whats the point of PVE? you just endlessly run the same dungeon to get gear to enable you to better run dungeons. sounds pretty pointless too. at the end of the day the answer is the same "cause it's fun"
