Selene NB Build

I've gotten the Selene set and I'm really liking its potential but I've never played Nightblade, really. I have one leveled but never play. I have all the gear but no idea what skills I should be using, especially for the Selene set, which procs on direct damage. I've looked up a few guides like Alcast and deltia but they aren't built around direct dmg.
Does anyone know of a guide out there that would help? If not could y'all share some suggestions for which skills I should be using as a stamblade Dw/bow DPS??

✭✭✭✭✭Not 100% sure on this, but my guess is that direct damage means things other than DoTs. For a stam NB, this is going to be things like surprise attack, Killers Blade, Power extraction, Spectral Bow, and of course, a good chunk of your weapons skills.
The reason people keep saying this is a good NB set is because they have direct damage class skills like mentioned above, so it's a natural fit.
Is this for PVE or PVP? For PVP, I would prob go 2H over DW.
For PVE, Dual Wield is the answer. The next question becomes, do you have VMA weapons.
If not, pretty strait forward NB bars look something like this for DPS.
DW: Surprise Attack, Killers Blade, Merciless Resolves, Steel Tornado (or power extraction), Rending Slashes
BOW: Poison Injection, Endless Hail, Rearming Trap (could be on front bar), Siphoning Strikes, Flex.
Good things for flex: Vigor, Caltrops.
If you have VMA weapons, then the build looks mostly like above but replace Surprise attack with rapid strikes. Not sure if rapid strikes procs this set or not.0 -

✭I'm pretty sure light attacks proc this set, I only had a few minutes after our Selene's run to play with it. Surprise attack and steel tornado definitely proc it.
In trash pulls it will frequently hit things you've already killed in the time between the proc and the animation going off, but it crits quite often for 26k+ single target(wasn't using rearming trap, so it will go higher). Can't wait to use this tonight.0 -

That would make sense, which would be cool in PVP, but not much use in PVE.
As with all of these new stam sets, the real question (from PVE DPS point of view) is does it make sense to drop your 4th and 5th piece of Vicious gear to add a monster set.
Pretty sure the Raw DPS meta will essentially be 5 TBS, 2 Kra'gh (or maybe selene on NB), 3 VO, VMA weapons. But I am guessing that 5 VO/5 TBS/VMA weapons wont be far behind, and the resource management will be far superior. In PVP, totally different story as VO isnt worth much in Cyro.0 -
