Better Graphics After Patch.. is it Just Me?

Maybe it's a placebo effect from how much I appreciate the game changes, but it seems to me and some guildmates that the graphics look better. I can't really put my finger on it, and I didn't see anything in the patch notes, but the game simply looks more colorful and sharp.

Am I just seeing things? (beyond what I normally see that other's don't)

Lighting and colors look different yea. My FPS also got doubled after the patch. DOUBLED CARL!

I noticed the same thing actually....

Then I checked the graphics settings, & where I had dropped them down for some trials last week, the update seemed to have reset them to ultra... so that may be why.
