Add no cp dueling

Hello everyone. While I know some of you like cp in pvp [SNIP] some like myself do not. I believe there should be an option to duel without cp as there is an option to play in a campaign without cp. A simple remedy would be to allow dueling in Cryodiil. Thank you for your time.

Well, if you want to duel with someone without CP, just agree with them to remove them before you start.

IMO No CP fighting is much more entertaining. It changes battles drastically and requires far more skill with resource management and overall combat mechanics. More than a few people share this view; if there is enough support for a No CP campaign then there is enough support for No CP dueling.

BTW paying 3k each time you want to duel is a ridiculous suggestion; I'm an avid dueler but I also like to have current gear. If I want to have up to date gear then I have to do PvE which means I'll be paying 6k each time I go from PvE to dueling and back to PvE again. That sounds like an absolutely great way to waste all my money. The only salt here would be from having to shell out that money every time someone wanted to duel.

If someone wants to duel with me without all my gold gears, i guess he will ask for a duel naked option.

[SNIP] I do think there should be a no cp duel option. There's a no cp pvp campaign, so why not the same for duelling? It also means if you have a couple of guildies/friends who want to have a few rounds who are on different CP levels can do it properly.

No, this is a thread asking for no cp dueling. Some people find it more enjoyable than spamming skills over and over again with unlimited resources.

I saw quite a few people with just around 100 CP duelling last night. Do you have any idea how long it would take to reach the cap from 100 CP?

Not really. You can challenge me any day you want on PS4 NA.

They will never add a no cp duel option. Should be glad dueling is even a thing. They have better things to focus on. Git gud

Listen.. choose a champion and I will face him. It is a simple change to make a decent portion of their pvp community happy.

I agree.

I have dueled (and usually win, like 99.9% of the time) in both CP and non CP campaigns, and non CP is by far the best because mistakes are punished a lot more, although some duels might last too long, but not eternal like with CP.

But I also understand some people are afraid of the no cp option, because adding different options to the game might cause harm to their gameplay...

I don't see how adding an option to duel without CP would harm anyone's gameplay. It's just like the duels available at the moment, if you don't like it then don't participate.

Nice way of alienating a lot of players by saying they are crutching nerds or some inanely spelt rubbish.

A lot of players above cp cap like myself do go into azura and still dominate, with no cps, its a question of skill.

OP's proposal is just that of an additional option: you can duel with your CPs AND you can duel without them. Why a player with, let's say, 100 CP should wait for four-five months (of hard grinding) before he can duel on an equal footing with a player at cap?

I have 720 CPs myself and I haven't any problem at all with this idea.
