    The 40 GB total you're seeing isn't all a download, it's unpacking and applying 40 GB of total data to your hard disk drive. The actual download was probably 2 GB or less. SSD FTW

    No its actually not--for me. Hughesnet has an app on my comp that shows me in real time how much data is being used, I've used about 15gbs while running the launcher only, as it shows how many MBS of the download is left.

    For some people the actual game is in fact reinstalling itself.

    So, after having downloaded the 40 GB for the game the launcher now is applying patches for another 40GB... At least at an incredible speed of about 6,22MB/s... :)

    I won't be waiting for that to finish. As I have to get up early tomorrow morning, I go to bed now. I told my husband to switch off the computer as soon as this loading/patching/whatever is done... He'll probably still be awake when it is done...

    Would work if the game would not be just 50.4 GB. For me the launcher trying to automaticly update. if i stop i get patch manifestation error. if i repair because whining for it. the launcher again downloading 40gb. so its just a vicious cicle.

    That's probably happening through failure to rename and delete the multiple folders as explained in the original post. It's installing to a new folder when you only want to rename the old folder and delete the new one.

    And if your game already in correct directory? And launcher downloading the files into the same directory?

    No, it's not. As I stated in my first post here--there is no second folder for me to delete, I looked more then once. It's just reinstalling it's self to the regular folder.
