Massive DPS drop after patch.

Same skills, same rotation, variant of the typical flurry build(without maelstrom)

Was doing 25min, 35k with perfect rotation before one tam, now am lucky if i can get 20k. The hell did they change that i miss?

    All enemies scale to CP 160 now, plus some of the boss monsters are stronger. What was your dps test location?

    You scale to the mobs level so now they are the same level as you all the time.
    No more level gaps so you can't just steamroll through lower lvl mobs.

    er.. vet runs, as normal, and always has...

    Im talking wayrest sewers vet, arx vet(which was easier than sewers oddly enough) etc.

    I am max level, cp just under 500, have been for along time, don't remember 'testing' my dps on mobs i can kill by looking mean at lol!

    What class are you and are you mag or stam? Some things got nerfed (for example maelstrom daggers/axes). You just need to get some of those new sets to get your dps back up.

    stam blade (nightblade) = ie: typical flurry/ dw/bow build

    As said, don't have maelstrom daggers, never did(Use pair of leki) (Don't have patience for maelstrom)

    rotation is usually poison inject, hail fo arrows, bar swap, slashes, trap, flurry weave 3-4 times, repeat.

    Wondering if the way they 'nerfed' maelstrom daggers was by screwing over EVERYONE who uses flurry? (would be very zos to do that) instead of toning the malestrom effect.

    no flurry isnt nerfed, its the vMA enchant.

    also, side tracking here but, surprise atk > flurry if using leki's. Same exact rotation.

    all my tests before(haven't tried SA yet after patch) flurry did more. by a fair bit. Also, flurry spam was less stam use so could maintain it longer (really long battles in trials would drain stamina and I'd have to resort to heavy attacks to get stam back, but with flurry never had that issue, prob because flurry was weaving with heavy attacks.)

    They buffed the resistances of all the bosses in the game, so if you're testing it on bosses, that's your answer.

    How do you run out of resources on a stamblade? Siphoning Attacks should be more than enough to sustain for a year of non stop rotations.

    Yup...bosses now have higher resistance, so you will need more spell penetration or physical penetration to get the same DPS you were getting before. Might be time to redistribute those CP.

    Are these overland world bosses? Because per Finn (the dungeon lead designer), dungeon and Trial boss resistances were not being changed. It was only overland mobs being normalized. If dungeon boss resistances were increased, that sounds like a bug.

    *sigh* yes, was a dungeon (IE pledge) mobs. Not just bosses(but yes, defiantly saw slower take downs on bosses)

    Always have and was using sharpened weapons, was plenty(that i know of) armor shred (but could have been difference in group? idk still seeing lower dps everywhere not JUST pledges, but as of OP i was only referring to pledge mobs)

    CP was fine before but I will test more into piercing.
